If 100k is OK as you say, then 80K is OK given the stiff competition at the moment.
^^^ Same here. I got ENSLAVED second and I have to say, I haven't played Castlevania since I got it. I will finish Castlevania, it's excellent. But ENSLAVED is captivating. With each chapter I want to keep going.
I didn't think I'd like the combat after the Demo, but yaay, you can shoot with the staff. It's also more strategy obviously, figuring out how to beat the mechs based on their position, condition and your available ammo. Really nice, I love it....
I'm waiting for that too. This appears to be a stealth troll. ENSLAVED is one of the best games to come around in a long time and PS3 fanboys appear to despise Ninja Theory for going multiplat and becuase the game, like most multiplats, looks and performs better on Xbox.
My God, I sound like a fanboy. I'm going to have to avoid N4G for at least a week before I become completely transformed into one of those creatures.
I haven't seen sales numbers. But I just bought it last week and I don't buy many disc based games. It's one of the best games I've played and one of the best looking games I've played.
Given the voluminous number of 8+ reviews, someone's buying it and playing it. Not a lot of marketing though. I didn't buy Uncharted 2 until it was out for almost a year so, sometimes it takes time for word to spread expecially with Castlevania and now Kinect comi...
The same way PS3 fanboy defends holding a giant glowing Dildo playing with themself.
I'm going to agree but I would scale back some of the censorship and supervision elements. But new accounts definitely shouldn't be able to post the same day they are created.
What makes you think normal gamers, meaning not harcore and online in forums about gaming, look forward to anything other than playing their games or being on Live! doing whatever they do?
I've got 20 XBLA titles and 3 Disc-based games (Madden, Enslaved, Castlevania, soon to be 4 with NBA 2k11) that will keep me busy indefinitely.
But I'm looking forward to Magic The Gathering Expansion 3 (This game alone is worth a $199 XBox purchase to me.)
Tell that exclusive mumbo jumbo (t)o someone playing ENSLAVED right now. Gets better with every chapter. It's the type of game people in between casual and hardcore salivate over. Worth bying a console for but it's not going to get that type of promotion.
XBLA is XBLA, Pinball FX 2 in a week. FX 1 is good and Zen on PS3 is good, but FX 2 raises the bar.
Of course, there's (Halo) Reach for thsoe FPS'ers. Kinect appears that its going to be...
That's the number one request. I'm hoping for Level-up cards. Some want Planeswalkers, I'm meh on that. But if you do Planeswalkers, I don't see how you would add other Level-ups.
ENSLAVED is only 5GB installed on a USB thumbdrive. With Internet speeds getting faster, it won't be long until most games can be digitally distributed.
Castlevania, a 2-disc DVD, 12.7 GB.
The real question, is when, not if. That, no one knows. Even though speeds are getting there, cost will keep most households from having it for some time after that.
>>because people have nothing to play, so they are forced to buy xbl titles<<
People have no games to play, so they're "forced" to buy games to play. I quit. You win.
Don't just give MS credit. What about the developers? XBLA keeps turning out the best arcade DLC and multiplat games like Enslaved and Castlevania are two of the best games on any platform. They're not FPS' and they're not made by Microsoft. This is good ...
Exclusive means nothing. Gears is exclusive, it's great. Enslaved is multiplat, it's one of the best "games" I've played. Happy to say I was wrong about it. Ninja Theory rocks!!!
If you haven't bought this game yet, get it, borrow it, or rent it.
Sony's has to be giving them some PSN codes. Either that or there are some folk out there with some serious mental problems playing games. Prolly a little of both.
Then you should also support a thriving development community where developers are free to create whatever games they like with the largest possible market.
Let's say you like FPS'. If everybody made FPS' the industry would go broke. And the people who will buy Kinect, and play Meatboy, or Monopoly Streets will spend their money, somewhere else.
They look like regular people to me. And probably more intelligent than a lot of people posting online.
I'm still not feelin' it but without a doubt it will be a success and a lot of people will have a lot of fun. Who am I to tell them what to enjoy.
Pfft. Microsoft's business model is to maintain a few first party Juggernauts and foster a thriving development community. Why not, the two best games I have right now are multiplats (Enslaved and Castlevania).
The whole first party thing is just fanboy fodder.
How many stories here here actually have video, for anything? Jeez ... On top of that you have to get model releases.
I hope you get your wish. I think Ninja Theory is the single best game developer out there. Given Heavenly Sword and Ninja Theory. I would love nothing more than for them to go Xbox exclusive. Please keep childishly hating on them for some mentally defective reason. Maybe it will happen.
