The early adopter crowd started panning the Samsung BD-P1000 for its inability to match (not outshine but not even match) the video performance of Toshiba HD-DVD X1-A player. I have not been overly impressed by this title since the screenshots and videos started surfacing for it. I am sure that a lot of people will enjoy it, but to me this game does not have the same "wow-factor" of GRAW or Oblivion or Gears or Rainbow Six or Halo 3.

The difference between XB360 and PS3 is no where NEAR the difference between SDTV and HDTV. It is not even as pronounced as the difference from EDTV (480p) to HDTV (720p/1080i/1080p).
Both systems will connect to displays that are either SD/ED or HD via component cables and the higher priced PS3 with have HDMI, although the value of that connection is debateable unless the ICT is triggered for BD playback.

The pictrue is an unfinished Death Star from Episode 6 : Return of the Jedi. The plot was that the "new, second and more powerful" Death Star was being constructed in secret and was the Empire's "secret weapon" so to speak.

I don't know how long until the game comes out, but the videos shown on whatever system it was running seemed pretty cool. The problem I had was controling the player from some of those camera angles shown may make a beautiful game unplayable at times. I think we all tend to forget that the niftiest videos and trailers don't mean squat if the final release gameplay and camera angles are screwed up...

It would be great news though if it were true (at least from a movie fan perspective. I can't see it happening though simply because this would almost force Sony to either redesign the PS3 (again) at the last minute (to include a hybrid drive instead of a straight BD drive) ...
