Put me down for one Tactical Enhancement Pack, please.
That's pretty much win. However the price is a bit on the fail side. I'm all for paying slightly ridiculous prices for stupid, useless crap but this is a bit much.
Well yeah, there isn't much else coming out for PC in December. Personally I'm going to wait a while though.
Racing games rarely ever reach the numbers shooter games can reach, let alone surpass them. Having a smaller fan base hurts sometimes.
All that matters is the numbers GT5 can put up against other games in the same genre. That goes for all games really.
MechAssault was pretty bad-ass. The second one wasn't too bad, but definitely didn't live up to the hype of the franchise.
One of the few games I wish I still had an old Xbox for. That and Steel Battalion.
Zoe was the shiznit
Zoe2.. well, let's forget about that dark day in gaming history and move on. Epic Mickey, anyone?
The first AC on the PSX was awesome. The two little standalone/addon sequels were pretty good. But none of them had the story/solo play AC had. Mostly just multi player fill.
For me, the AC games that came on the ps2/3 lacked the fun of the original.
That's why you don't pay much attention to scores of any type. Especially Meta Critic and IGN scores.
The only thing I dislike about GT5 is how a car is awarded to you. The whole pop up showing you have been given a car. Then click on the little semi truck on your screen. Click on the car you were given(or choose from multiples if you have been given more than one). Then select yes or no when asked if you want the car. Quick loading screen and your car drives in from a blacked out back ground. Select yes or no when asked if you want to use the car now. Quick loading screen and you're back...
Tell you all what, having GT5:CE sitting beside my TV for a whole 3 days before I picked up a ps3 drove me nuts. Even during Thanksgiving football, I couldn't help but see this cool little box in the corner of my eye. A little box that was taunting and teasing me endlessly. A few nights of hearing what sounded like a childs laughter and I had to give in.
Thank god for vodka.
Don't drink and GT5!
I bought my first ps3 for GT5.. and I've played all of the games on your list. I do plan to go back and buy a dozen or so games that I "missed" out on.
If the game isn't for you, great! Glad to hear it. I won't have to listen to your qq online when I play GT5... which I bought my first PS3 just for.
I got GT5 Wed, and my PS3 yesterday(Saturday) and couldn't be happier. Sure, GT5 isn't perfect but it's much better than any other racing game I've played in the last 5 years or so.
About Shift 2; if it's anything like the first, it won't be that great. The driving and sounds from NFS:Shift were awful to say the least. The game overall was good, but needed a lot of improvement.
On a side note, I still love how my boost gauge in Shift stays at max when I let off the gas, then decrease as I hit the brakes. Tap the breaks repeatedly and the gauge will go down in slight increments.
I enjoyed the hell out of ME2. Never played the first Mass Effect. I've considered looking for a copy to see the story unfold first hand. It definitely has a shot at action/rpg GoTY but not overall. Probably one of my favorite games of this year, for sure.
Come on UPS, don't let me be the last stop of the day!
yay for micro-studdering
Looks nice though.
+bubble for pity.
I lold though... kinda
Does it matter? I'm not sure about you all but I plan to spend more time looking at the road and/or looking at the inside of the car(depending on what view I use).
All publicity is good publicity, even when it's negative.
Social life? What is this you speak of?
But yeah, I plan on spending a lot of time with the track creator.
I think a game(s) based on the major religions of this world would be a very good thing to have around. Too many people are ignorant when it comes to the facts of other religions(as stated in their writings), and too lazy to pick up a book and learn something. You don't have to believe in the religion(or any) to read the texts. There are some great lessons to be learned from reading a passage or two every now and then, especially on a philosophical and moral pov.
