VIII was great. It wasn't VII and that's why people hated it. Plus for it's time and compared to the other games in the FF lineup, was probably the most difficult(rpg). Not saying it was hard, but it definitely wasn't care bear like VII was.
But VII was pretty damn good. Just not the best =)
The only thing I disliked about VIII was the horrible history lesson at the orphanage in disc 2... and Omega Weapon, he can eat a fatty.
I miss Tactics Ogre every now and then.
1-9 were the best games the franchise had to offer. But in the end, I'd have a hard time choosing between FF IV(II on SNES) and FF VI. Loved running through VI start to finish with a friend over a weekend. Two player rpg ftw. Next would be a toss up between V and IX, after that it doesn't matter.
Mystic Quest was the best non-numbered, FF game.
Pretty cool work. Some entrants look like they built the case from scratch, which is impressive by itself.
I wouldn't go so far as to say we avoid N4G like the plague, but we definitely take N4G in moderation. =-)
Yes.
>.<
Agreed.
I wonder if I can get on food-stamps? It'll make it a little easier to afford all of the great looking games coming out next year. >.<
The trailer is pretty epic, btw.
The name "Origin" probably. As with all the other custom built gaming rig companies, you pay for the name and service. Nothing more.
The hardware is exactly what you will get if you take your credit card to an retailer or etailer.
Only upside is you don't have to put any effort into building the computer or OC. To me, this takes away most of the fun of building or having a built computer.
Or maybe the person(if this is real) took a day or two off work? So because they're able to just take a sick or vacation day they have no life?
Personally, I couldn't do this. I know of someone who did it in about 15 hours(80-85). Two of closes friends irl did it in under 20. Both of them took more than a week off to get to 85, and get started on raiding and such.
A 2 pedal version of this wheel has been out for years now. Pretty cool though, I always wanted the older one just because it's a Porsche replica. I may have to pick up this one for a 2nd wheel.
Nothing compares to the GT27 in both performance and price >.>
The only thing I disliked about Far Cry 2, was getting sniped by a guy with a shotgun from a few hundred yards away. Hell I'm at the draw distance(for PC) and I'm getting picked... wtf
The shooting and aim mechanics were pretty bad.
For me, it was StarTrek:Online
A lot of people seem to dislike the idea of penalties in a game. So, do what other games have done... allow players to turn the damage on/off.
So, do your best to not crash.
Agreed. In real life when you crash your race car head first into a immovable object at 150mph.. you're done.
Damage that affects the cars performance would be a great thing to have in GT5. Especially if you gradually see the changes as you level up; like the way the damage model works now. Standing on the rev. limiter and blowing something up would be cool too. I kinda miss that about Sega GT(Online), you suck at shifts(with clutch) and your drive train can break. As wel...
I doubt there is any legitimacy to this article.
You're getting disagrees because you're preaching.
Stop that.
I really enjoyed Doom3. Although I played the copy I had on the Xbox, the experience was pretty good. I never played the sequel, Resurrection of Evil.
To me, the best part of Doom3 was the ambient sounds. Most games throughout history(to me) have had some pretty crappy music both in game, and at the menu screen. The sounds were very fluid and flowed great with each level.
