Bubba is a pirate.
A butt-pirate.
They'll get along great.
I'm not sure about you Dark, but I have a pretty nice keyboard and mouse. Only after very, very long gaming sessions do I get tired or start to feel uncomfortable. I like being able to have my hands spaced out a bit. Nothing beats a game pad/mouse combo, imo,
@256bit: Old School reference ftw!
@Darkdoom3000: Using your thumbs maybe easier if you don't have 8 other fingers on your hands. And believe it or not, those 8 other fleshy things hanging off your hands are f-i-n-g-e-r-s.
*All joking aside*
Personally, I hate scrolling through weapon wheels to get what I want. Hot-key everything, and forget about it.
Just don't forget your hot-keys.
It can be. Some missions really aren't that bad though. Hell I found some missions on Brutal, were actually easier than doing some of the Hard achievements.
This thing is downright sexy. Too bad it's just a concept.Just get you one of these, an HDMI cable... and who needs a laptop? Plug it into your TV and forget about it.
Hmmm.. increased visuals, I'll need to keep an eye on this. Graphics are the main reason I didn't play for too long.
I used this one at a friends house a while back(or an older version). Ended up being a pretty good controller. After that I tried the Logitech G13, bought one and never looked back. They're pretty comfortable most of the time and work great as a counterpart to your mouse.
The only problem I had stepping away from the keyboard was relearning how to play some games.
First game I tried was DA:O, that ended up being more trouble than it was worth.
The scroll...
I like using these types of controllers also. For WoW, I could never get into using one though. I have a G13 and it's great. But trying to change how you play a game after 5 or so years of playing a certain way, is hard to do.
I do use my G13 for shooters and the like. Crysis, ME:2 and Borderlands are at the top of my list.
Supposedly there is away to use one of these for navigating through Windows, I haven't tried it out yet. But I'd like to.
I prefer SuperSwing for the Wii. A little cartoon like and has a lot of subtle humor. Great for kids and the family alike.
Anything with D3 is going to get hits. I'm talking about the leaked part; which that video isn't.
It's not like a Blizzard employee was sneaking around the office looking for D3 info/vids on devs computers, taking video and putting it on the net.
That was an attendee at a convention using a cellphone or camcorder.
Title is misleading imo, it should be changed.
Good video though, taken by someone with a cellphone or digital camera.
Hopefully we get D3 this year.
Not always no. But a lot of the time, the Torrents are used for piracy.
I'm pretty sure the people who took part in the survey didn't expect that much info to be taken... especially pirates.
I played the demo the other night, and I gotta say I'm not a fan of the lighting effects. Everything looked almost too well lit.
Maybe It's just me being used to it on the pc.
The game play was pretty good though. Took a little bit for me to get used to the controls. I think Bioware got the job done with the PS3 controller.
ME2 will sell pretty well I think on the PS3. What I'm interested in is how many people will go out and buy...
I almost picked up the new Xense. Only reason I didn't and got the Xonar instead.. with the Xense I'd have felt the need to go ahead and pick up a 7.1 receiver and along with it.... new speakers.
With the Xonar, I can still use my ol' Logitech 5.1.
Xense is definitely a sexy option for us Audiophiles.
Interesting that roughly 30% of the people who opted in for that survey by Steam, have a Torrent installed.
Personally I didn't opt in for that survey.
I have two measuring in at 11inches long and a third hitting the big 10 inch mark!!!! Gotta love "Black Edition"
Relax that's my video cards.
This really isn't big news, but still cool.
Just give me Torchlight2 already!
Never played the first LBP but I heard some pretty good things about it. My cousin talked me into getting LBP2:CE. The demo is about as addicting as crack.
*twitch*
This game is looking to be pretty damn good.
I like how a good number of the games being shutdown, are only a year or two old.
And people say Activision are jackasses.
I'm definitely getting this. Will probably get the Collectors Edition.
2011 is going to be a very expensive year for me, game wise. =(
