Be warned, the game is having a lot of problems. 2k is working on them I'd assume. From crashes to terrible performance across all hardware configurations.... Civ5 is in a slump atm. Hopefully 2k rolls out some patches soon, otherwise this game goes back for a refund.

When it doesn't crash, the game is pretty fun.. even with the issues Civ5 is having.

At first, sure. People will want to try out the new mmo. But give it a few months and they'll be back to WoW. Especially once Cata ships. The way FF14 plays is completely different from how WoW plays. And that will probably turn a lot of people off.

I don't see this game coming anywhere near the numbers WoW has atm. Let alone, what they had at their peak.

Agreed
There wasn't any need to reach level 99. Other than bragging rights. 60 levels if done right will be fine.

There is offline play... You just need to authenticate your cd key first.

I'd have to agree with you on the glitches. Imo the story wasn't all that dull. Better than some of the other shooters that have been out in the last 5 years.

Game play was pretty rock solid though imo. The only way I'd down rank the game play of Crysis would be if you played on a lower budget computer. Once you start maxing everything out and can do so smoothly,(and by that I mean never going under 30 fps) the game play gets to be pretty good.

AMD has been doing this for years. They just don't charge you for the unlock. It's something you can do on your own... depending on your motherboard.

Stuff like this has been going on since the 70s and 80s. But lets face it, if you're buying a low cost computer you probably aren't going to care about high performance, gaming or that extra 200 mhz. You just want a computer. Something to do simple tasks. One of those, "get what you pay for" situations.

If you want to game or need a lot of computer power, spend the cash and get something you know is going to last you a few years(or more).

How fun it would be to have a car that you can beat the hell out of, and someone else flips the bill.

Can't wait for D3, and the new WRC game. Rally ftw

As long as it's not mandatory....

But then again, even if ATI does lose their damn minds and make you use Steam to update your system and video drivers... we can always go to our hardware companies for drivers. Like, Asus, XFX, Evga.. etc

To be honest, most console gamers pay just as much, if not more than most pc gamers when it comes to their setup. Sure there is a small % of gamers who go above and beyond and "break the bank" so-to-speak.

But as a console gamer, once you go out and buy that $1500-$2000+ TV, you've broke even, or surpassed what a lot of pc gamers these days have paid for their computers. Now, go out and buy your ps3/360.

Console players telling pc gamers off fo...

Meh list at best. I've been checking out MSI Afterburner for a while now. And I must say, it's quite nice. Pretty much Evga Precision Tune but with a different skin. Probably the Riva Tuner software... What I like about MSI Afterburner is the ability to adjust when your gpu(s) fan(s) speed up and slow down.

But tbh, the best thing for a gamer imo, isn't free... have a 2nd monitor. Get w/e software for O.C, monitoring, VOIP you want. And just put it up on the other...

I'll probably get this, along with the other 2 DLC I'm missing for ME2 this week. Just finished getting caught up on my DA:O DLC.

How is the length of Shadow Broker? Not that it really matters, just curious...

FF14(Online 2) Shouldn't be on that list. Most anticipated MMO list, maybe. There are several single player RPG on the horizon that can and should take FF Online2s place.

The dlc was short, perhaps a little too short. But I thought the story was pretty good. One thing I liked was being able to load up a previously made character into the dlc. I went and did the GoA dlc before I played Witch Hunt. Your character progress and loot continues into WH. Made for a pretty fun experience.

Plus it let me see the newer talents and some of the newer items. I'm liking the melee skills so far, I may go ahead and pick up a copy of DA:Awakening this week...
