...the south! I didn't mean to sound like an ass(if that's how you took it). British accents are about as bad as it gets, so at least you don't have that.

Not just the vulgarity, the guy himself was annoying. His accent is atrocious, but then again to my ears all thick East-Coast accents are terrible.

I remember as a young boy getting face-rolled by the last boss, Dark King. Then a friend just goes "dude, just cast cure". A few turns later it was gg

First Final Fantasy I ever played, and it got me hooked. Although it was more of a knockoff game from the Final Fantasy series(numbered). After that I played FF1 and was like wtf? From there played FF4 and FF6(2&3 back then). From that I went to FF5 and eventually FF2(the real one). Never played 3 but by then I had a PSone and spent 1/2 of my early teenage life playing 7-9.

All thanks to FF Mystic Quest.... Square just doesn't make FF rpgs like they used to. And that&...

Back then, 1998... I was in Middle School....

Spent a day or so this last week going back through SC/BW. Fond memories and a refresher course on the story. I'm gtg for tomorrow. The UPS Truck usually doesn't come by my house until the mid to late afternoon. Hopefully, the delivery gods will shine some love light on me and drop my package off in the a.m!

Go go Collectors Edition!

I spent a ridiculous sum of quarters on this game back in the day. Good to see a new Hydro Thunder in the mix.

The Wii sensor probably shouldn't be on the list. For those of you who actually use Wii Fit may want to check out that vitality sensor.

I remember using, or trying to use the Power Glove and Sega Activator. The P.Glove was better off by tearing out the cord and using it when you played "war" with your friends. You know, at age 5 or so running around with guns yelling "bang bang you're dead"! Tried the S.Activator at a theme park once, I think we we...

Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii. If you have anger issues, don't use the Wiimote... or smoke a lot of pot first!

For me it depends on the game I'm playing. There should be games that have exceptional visuals, while having a story and game play to back it up. Crysis for example, true the story wasn't quite as good as it could have been but the rest shine.
There should also be games with good visuals, not anywhere near the top(nor was it meant to be) but has possibly the greatest game play with a really good story.
Then there should be games with average visuals, but when compared ...

There is nothing wrong with being loyal to the console you have. The problem I see is what actually drives players to dislike a product? Take the 360 for example. I know someone who despises it for one simple reason. That reason is, they were burned by M.Soft(in their opinion) with Windows Vista. And from that point on, have decided to utterly hate and despise anything M.soft does. Imo, this sort of reason is complete crap and people with this mind set are what's wrong with console loyalt...

Depends on how hyped up each individual player is. It probably will, but we'll see what happens over the next week.

I'll probably enjoy the hell out of it.

I've been keeping an eye on this game. Hopefully they don't mess up too much! =)

Completely agree. Eye-candy is fine and all, but PiMP.TV is pretty boring. G4TV does a much better job. At least their hosts can at least pretend to like what they're talking about.

These ladies are the Ben Stein of gaming tv. Listening to them talk for more than a few minutes will drive you insane, if it doesn't put you to sleep first.

Cool, too bad most of my local gaming friends are PC users. And all of them are already getting SC2.

I wouldn't say scared, but the flow of multi-player matches don't interest me. I'm not a fan of fast 5 min or less battles. I like to sit back and relax. If a match with 3 other people lasts and hour or two, great. As long as the time was spent having fun.

The problem is that finding others who are casual enough to not care about the quick wins. Don't get me wrong, I'm alright when it comes to the quick matches. It just isn't much fun.

The biggest and only problem I've had with how Blizzard is doing SC2 is more along the lines of visuals and performance. Blizzard, along with damn near every other game developer won't overhaul or increase the visuals too much with expansions or "add-on packs". Meaning we maybe stuck with the same ol' DX9 game for 3-5 years while newer ones come out.

I'm hoping there is at least some DX10 support with the retail version. RTS games have never been top...

So you're might wait a few years then? My guess, and that's if Blizzard sticks to their previously stated release schedule... a GoTY won't hit until 2015.

5676d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Sure it does. If there is enough content on each installment. Then by all means break SC2 into 3 games. There aren't many RTS games of this caliber that have any where near 30 missions.

If and when 3D takes off and is used by more than say, 60% of gamers then this maybe an issue. But right now, where 3D hasn't taken off and isn't used by many people overall(let alone gamers)...
it's not a big deal.
