Discussed at the instance of the developer as a way to avoid troll bait questions...
That's my concern. I've put over 55hrs into it already but I'm not sure if that's because its such a great game or I have nothing else to play.
Uh what story? I've played over 55hrs of Destiny and couldn't find a narrative. There were three or four fairly disjointed cutscenes but that was it.
Bungie would be better off saying the game has no story than to win the award for worst attempt at story making in a game for over the last 10 years.
The fact that so many of those games sold better than RDR is an utter shame.
Its concerning how reluctant devs are to speak freely about their games in interviews and how little journalists care about the actual content of the game, instead they're fixated on getting performance quotes.
While I don't appreciate the guy avoiding the question, the journalist didn't ask anything that would have provided more info about gameplay..combat mechanics, story, modes, length, nope, nothing. Who cares, give me a resolution quote is all that matters i...
I think it starts getting that fluid look around 45 FPS.
They should make the PS4 version 900p as well and increase other graphical effects
"It’s going to blow your socks off so hard that they’ll burn a hole through the Earth and come out on the other side"
Fire the entire PR team and use this guy.
If you're going to spend millions making a game, may as well give it a few more months to make it right.
As a PS4 owner, to be fair they meant next-gen consoles.
The only thing I really want asap are customizable backgrounds and a true suspend resume feature.
"But with all the additions being made, there are already signs that the thin end of the wedge is dividing the PS4 and Xbox One versions. The omission of motion blur from the Microsoft release, for example, plus a few occasional frame-rate dips during cut-scenes, suggests the weight of these engine advances is starting to take its toll. It's rare to see a break in parity between the modern entries in this series, but FIFA 15 marks the first time a more obvious distinction can be made...
Even that's too much for the PS4/xone versions. It's half a game, should be 29.99 or 34.99 in Canada.
That's not flying at all, more like a stuttering glide.
I happy to see it gone, and strike rewards increased.
I'm glad they're removing the cave exploit and making actual game modes like strikes more rewarding, the way the game was intended.
Excellent job Bungie but a legendary engram should alway decode into a legendary item for your class.
Black Mesa wins. They're so shadowy that Valve has been too afraid to make a game including them in over 10 years.
Doesn't the game come out in just over a month...how could they not know.
Parts of it are great, others just ok, and some terrible (story). Whatever it is it's very addictive.
I wonder how many Destiny players will abandon the game when the Division comes around...it may have the same addictive quality with more vaired content and an actual story
