That would be an utter shame, 30 FPS blurs so much when moving the camera. There's something really beautiful about how smooth and clear a 60 FPS game is.
And when has 60 FPS been the industry standard? PC gamers could use it if their hardware had the power and most console games last gen barely managed 30FPS most of the time.

Most of those guy didn't even get a shot off so I think it may be more a lack of skill by the other players. He just hung around around the flag and waited for people, most didn't even see him.

Not really seeing that DICE LA is essentially copying DICE Sweden's formula.
Still, DICE messed up big time with BF4 networking.

It's trite to say this, obviously the game matters but graphics do as well and so would a sub-30 framerate that fluctuates all the time. It's a lie to say otherwise or there would be no need for better GPUs and new consoles. For a car all that matters is that it goes from point A to B, doesn't mean other features aren't important or improve the experience of going from A to B.

Lol I don't know why people think PS4 can handle these games at 1080p 60FPS. 1080p sure but even sony exclusives can't do 60 FPS.
Very disappointed with Sony right now. I kept checking PSN all day yesterday too. Would have appreciated that they at least put a message up on PSN.

As a fellow Canadian, there's never a need to qualify your purchase. If you're satisfied and getting 100 plus hrs out of a game then you're spending your money wisely. Regardless of reviews and popular minority opinion.
I'd say many games are. In Canada games are $80 after tax. They increased in price $10 late last year.
Needless to say instead of buying more games at launch I'll be waiting until two or three price drops
Sleeping Dogs is a very good game but not better than GTA imo. I enjoyed it more than Watch Dogs and Saints Row the Third, and possibly Infamous 2. It among the best in it's genre but not anywhere near the best.
Definitely one of the better open world games. Much better than Watchdogs IMO and it has a better story and gameplay than many others games in the genre.
These reviews are looking like another Destiny situation ...in fact the game structure where they release more content gradually over a long period of time is the same model.
Like Destiny there will probably be just as many people that love it that don't. The reviews are unreliable, it's so strange that Polygon gave it higher than FH2. Best thing to do is play it yourself, it is partially free.
Really not sure if you're being sarcastic because of the troll statement at the end but I guarantee Halo 2 (sub-1080p) will look significantly better than Halo 1, which will be 1080p.
Use that logic and apply it to all next-gen games and you'll realize that maybe things like shadow quality, LOD, tessellation, geometry, texture resolution, AA, etc. are more important than resolution when trying to make impressive graphics.

I don't own an xone (just a PS4) but I do know that lot more things go into how sharp, clear and generally how impressive a game graphics are than its resolution, especially when playing on a TV and not a computer monitor. I commend devs that make the best looking game instead of catering to this resolution obsession created by the gaming media and eaten up by gamers for fanboy battles.

The wheel and engine were around a long time before the car, doesn't mean the creators of those get credit for the automobile. Just like an artist wouldn't give credit to the makers of paint and canvasses.
Monolith applied they're ideas, ingenuity and creative skill to make something new and special. No need to take away from their accomplishment.
Perfection does not exist in art or products of human creation but supreme excellence relative to the competition does so yeah, 5 and 10 stars are sometimes worthy.

I never played the first game but I found the rest of the scenes thoroughly enjoyable kinda like how horror movies' gore scenes are both disgusting and entertaining at the same time.
Still find it funny that gore is more acceptable than sex and nudity the the ESRB. Better to see a decapitated head swimming in someones entrails than genitals.
