Because you can normally get the same amount of MP content (or in the case of Titanfall, much more) and a full SP game.
Titanfall was half a game sold at full-price irrespective of how much people enjoyed it. It should have had way more MP content for that price.
Pay to play is insidiously creeping more and more into AAA console gaming.
I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. I hope Sony doesn't half ass it. There's no reason they can't be a real Netflix competitor considering all their entertainment presence.
Ideally, they'd offer the supreme TV/MUSIC/MOVIE streaming service for a reasonable price. Hell, merge PS Now with it, offer it for 15-20 a month and have appealing content and Sony could once again dominate music and TVs.

I just use the Destiny app for groups. It takes about 5-10 minutes to find people for a RAID. I'd prefer matchmaking but the App is pretty fantastic.

Back up is all I care about. Makes upgrading the HD much less of an onerous process.

60 FPS is far more important than 1080p if you looking for image clarity. No matter how high the resolution, 30 FPS is a complete blur when moving the camera, which is all the time in a game (unlike TV and movies). So a 900p game at 60 FPS almost always looks clearer than a 1080p 30FPS game.
I think a more accurate saying is that a higher resolution is easier to achieve than 60 FPS.

I never trade in my consoles. By the time the new gen comes around they're worth next to nothing. Still have my launch PS1, launch PS2, launch PSP and 1 year post launch fat PS3 (all still work strangely).
People are better off waiting 25 years and trying to get a ridiculous price on ebay than getting $20-25 for it now. Or in my case, I should try and sell the "Playstation Console Collection" for an exorbitant price.

Two GPUs with the full CPU benefit of DX12 compared to xone with vey marginal DX12 CPU benefits. Don't get your hopes up....for the graphics being a close match at least.

Live Gold was a ripoff after a few years. Its only monetary appeal was free demos when at the time you had to buy a 12 dollars for a magazine to get demos.
Hiding paid services behind pay wall. Again just cheap.
