I miss dismemberment.
Deus will guaranteed have the better story.
They were practically giving it away. Some places had two pack in games, a choice of third game and $50 store gift card for $350.
The two AAA new releases alone made the console $240, then the $30 other pack in game and $50 in store card made a new xone $160...a year after launch. Crazy.
If HL3 doesn't launch something amazing with VR, it's guaranteed to disappoint. No game could possibly live up to the hype now, and the FPS genre is saturated and highly competitive.
Half Life is a victim of its own success and more importantly, prolonged delay.
What's that Chinese proverb for some games are pretty, some games are good, and some games are good and pretty.
I imagine a bit like Battlefield, which is good. Love me that 60 FPS, it's worth a slight graphical downgrade.
I don't care, just implement RAID matchmaking.
I can no longer play this game without RAID matchmaking. I'm done wasting my Friday nights manually trying to matchmake. It's just not worth it the time.
Every problem you listed has an easy solution already implemented in other games. Give people the OPTION to matchmake. You can still pub crawl if you want.
All you've really done is show that after spending 15-45mins getting a fireteam (if you even get one), that sometimes you'll still have people that drop or won't play properly. Difference is, then you'll need to go spend another 15-45 mins instead of the game just finding someone quickly.
I just want RAID matchmaking.
Well price is a MAJOR component of gaming review scores.
I've played a plenty of professionally reviewed 8 and 9 indie games that would be 1s and 2s were they released at $60.
Please just hire someone else to do the story. I'm still upset how badly the atmosphere and story deteriorated going from Gears 1 to 3. It went from an incredible game with a highly interesting story to an average one.
We're way past the age where exclusives are the primary reason the average consumer buys a particular console. No one game can change anything. Neither two or three. Exclusives are icing on the cake of the console you already own or plan on getting.
It's the online gaming age, people buy the consoles their friends already have to play the yearly iteration of online sports and shooters (which comprise the majority of sales and are essentially all multiplatform)
Where's the Plus version. DriveClub Plus version was used to advertise PSN Plus, it's false advertising by Sony not to deliver.
I don't even own an xone but given how good Halo 4 looked on 360, I'm sure No. 5 will do well in the graphics department.
I keep hearing conflicting stories about the merits/limitations of esram.
I suppose future game comparisons will be the determinative factor.
Truly a great game, it deserves every success.
Bubbles for intelligent. I found that very well written 883.
All it really needs to be is a huge screen that works with every game. I'm sure dedicated morpheus games will be cool but If it looks like a giant LED TV for $200-$300, I'd be happy with that.
If all you see is the game, I'd use Morpheus with all my PS4 games.
And no RAID matchmaking. Game's useless without it.
Very well done. They should sell more skins ins stores instead of having to go online to get them.
