I loved Destiny. But now that there're no plans for RAID matchmaking I've stopped playing. There's no point in leveling up if I can't play RAIDS. Spending 45 minutes trying to manually matchmake myself and 2-3 friends isn't worth it.

Bungie is making a mistake, matchmaking is far superior to manually going online to find people. Which is what most people have to do. Matchmaking is the same thing - paired up with strangers except manual match finding takes forever and youre screwed when someone quits. On that topic, you still find lots of people that quit, difference is matchmaking would find a replacement.
