I don't hate MS at all, I do hate paying for Live however....and MS peripheral and movie rental prices....and not benig able to access Youtube and other free apps without first paying.
I think I just hate MS Entertainment Division business practices.
I'd say 90% of multiplats looked better on 360 until about a year ago (most looked 90% similar though) and now more multiplats look better on PS3 (still 90% similar though).
If the rumours are true, it seems like 100% of multiplats will look better on PS4, how much better is the question.
So why did they release it already without games and more importantly, what incentive is there for people to buy it now and not later with a price drop.
Why was Nintendo so unprepared to support Wii U.
If they saw a financial incentive for a Wii U version they'd make one.
Yes, they just need to make it good this time.
In other new PS3 outsold PS2.
There a generation apart, it should always outsell current gen, not just in Japan.
I see it differently, It's $5-$60 more per game depending on how many games a year you buy.
Just one = 60 plus the price of the game.
6 games = 10 added on to each game.
Maybe it's different in Canada but it's rare that Live goes on sale and finding it through Craigslist/Kijjiji and meeting up with some stranger is a total hassle and often a matter of luck.
For me, it comes down to whether I should buy this brand new AAA g...
If MS charges for basic online MP again and PS4 doesn't, it a no brainier for me, PS4 all the way.
If they both charge for basic online MP I'm not sure which one although PS4s likely added power would probably win me over.
Billion dollar games? I'd like to play that lol
Anyways, they're not stars because often the scripts stink and is comprable to a run of the mill action movie.
And, characters are often very one dimensional, if we're lucky we get two.
Up until I got my Slim, my scariest moment happened every time I turned on or played my 360.
They did break 4 times though, so it wasn't irrational fear.
Very few games are shipping 5-6 million these days, this generation is pretty much over, what did they expect.
MS spending its money to deprive gamers of content rather than add something new. Classic Microsoft.
I've had both PS3 and 360 this gen and all MS did was leave a bad taist in my mouth with constant nickel and diming.
Not providing basic online MP without charging has pretty much made me disregard future MS consoles. I paid too much money for Live, now my 360 just collects dust.
Old consoles and games are worth almost nothing. It's best to just keep them. They have more value as personal collectors items than the $40-$50 I'll get IMO.
For some reason I like having my PS1 and PS2 (in there original boxes), same will be for 360 and PS3 and I can bring them out for the odd time I feel like playing a last gen game.
I think perhaps Wii U but not Nintendo as a whole.
It doesn't matter who's laughing when the gamers are crying for AAAs.
For me, without a basic free online MP option (chat and message only is fine), the next Xbox won't appeal to me.
Maybe if it was significantly more powerful than PS4 I'd be interested but I doubt it will be and it's not like MS has built a strong 1 party game library this generation, so what's the point.
PS4 looks like it will have better looking multiplats, more exclusives and finally an awesome controller.
That actually looks amazing.
The controller sounds amazing.
MS is essentially forcing every Durango buyer to purchase a Kinect 2.
Kinect 1 was f'ng useless. It was as much fun as a free mobile game App, fun for 10 minutes due to its novelty then never used again.
