Devs shouldn't even acknowledge these whiners.
Installs never bother me. On 360 I always installed my game first and on PS3 I wish more games had bigger installs to improve load times.
Some things I agree with but mostly disagree especially with regards to brutal mellee takedowns.
Games need more brutality IMO. If most games involving killing things, which they do, and most games try to up the realism, which they are, then most games should be far more brutal and visceral.
Shooting, stabbing and exploding people should turn the stomach with how brutal it looks. Limbs should blow off, blood should gush, etc.
I have no loyalty to any corporation, I owned 360 and PS3 this gen.
What brand is an indicator of though is business practices, quality, pricing/value, games, etc. MS really let me down this gen.
Game looks good, shame I won't be able to get it on my PS4.
There's an irony in a "fan" of a game disliking the game so much that he threatens the dev.
A more effective way to communicate his disapproval would be to stop playing the game and purchasing the series or games from the dev/publisher.
I loved Crysis 2 but they never fixed the grain glitch. Know what I did? Sold it and refused to buy any further Crytek games.
Tip for half of COD players, just because your friends bought it doe...
Most FPS online player vs player MP looks lacking compared to BF imo. BF is just crazy. The rest looks like variations of COD.
I agree with Activision here, any gamer that threatens a devs is dirt.
Shame a guy makes a joke in an MMORPG and goes to jail. Some turd actually threatens a developer and gets nothing. Not that he should be punished by the law, unless the threat is serious but still, the contrast is interesting imo.
XOne at $400 without Kinect I'd still go with PS4
But Xone at $350 without Kinect I'd seriously consider and probably end up buying.
Devs should provide greater incentives to buy digital versions then. Starting with the price.
The game is shaping up nicely.
If Wii U isn't getting current-gen multiplats now, it's less likely to next-gen multiplats in the future.
Like most Nintendo systems, it going to need to get by on Nintendo exclusives alone. Which is probably why it's not selling well currently. Nintendo hasn't released a single heavy hitter.
In regards 360s grade, as a 360 owner all I can say is I'm very unsatisfied with my 360 and have been for a while. Ever since Kinect was released ...
If sony dropped the price another $25 xone would be boned
It's already established that Sony will get a few cents from every xone sold.
That would explain why several of the upcoming Next-gen games aren't mind blowing graphically.
But release 360/PS3 games compared to one being released now shows a massive graphical improvement.
I used to think that a lot of launch 360 games didn't look much better than Xbox 1 the original (God, Xbox One is a HORRIBLE name), then later my mind was blown by Gears.
Not sure if any other single developer released as many 90 plus games this gen.
It's 4/4.
While I have little to no interest in Wii U, I bet its sales will pick up one Nintendo FINALLY starts releasing it's heavy hitters and drops the price.
That nickel and diming you customer base, charging exorbitant prices for peripherals, having the biggest BS pay-wall ever conceived (like blocking access to services already paid for or free like Netflix, Youtube, and even their own IE) will slowly build a powder keg of resentment in your original supporters causing them to turn on you in a vile campaign of hate using guerrilla anti-fanboy trolling tactics of the most subtle yet vicious kind imaginable (re: Reddit) the second the competition ...
This gen made me hate Edge but I must agree with that cover page.
All I know is when my girlfriend comes over she absolutely does not want a camera staring at her. Shame really.
She even checks my PSEYE to make sure it's unplugged and physically turns it around. I tell her my psEYE hasn't been plugged in since KZ3. Still she's so paranoid about being taped.
And American designed games let you fight every other country and are bigger propaganda than anything China's ever done.
