I'm buying it for BF4 and AC4BF, both version should be better than the xone versions.
I couldn't care less about Forza and Dead Rising, and have little faith in Crytek making a game I would enjoy more than BF4.
The best game of the year will likely be old gen games like Last of Us and GTA5.
it will only wobble if someone goes to intentionally wobble it. I would have preferred they put feet on the edge but it's a very minor design flaw.
I'm pretty much getting mine for BF4 until better games come out. The launch lineup for both consoles lacks a major exclusive that really appeals to me. I'll be happy with BF4 and ACBF until the next-gen really starts with games like MGS, Infamous SS, Watchdogs, etc.

Well, from the numbers he provided it seems both PS4 and xone will win, albeit PS4 over xone by a small margin. The most intersting news to me is his statements regarding Wii U.
If those number are right though it should be a big boost for Sony. Even if only half of the 100-120 million owners subscribe yearly to PSN Plus, Sony could look to generate over 2 billion annually from online subscriptions alone.
Load time was twice as fast, that's promising.
I doubt the game is great but a 5 his horrible in game reviews but the site is sponsored by Microsoft so I doubt they are honest.
Polygon isn't being negative towards the PS4 (in this article, I call balderdash on them maintaining that 1080p and 720p look the same though).
Polygon indirectly complimented the browser, in fact the whole article is about the browser being good enough to not need a dedicated app. I'm sure the trackpad will make browsing better on PS4 too.

I was hoping that last gen development would be abandoned as soon as possible so devs could really focus on next-gen gameplay and design without worrying about making games work on the lowest common denominator.
I don't want PS4/xone games being HD 60FPS versions of last gen games for too long.

The only apps I couldn't do without would be Netflix and Youtube.
A quality web browser would be nice. I really hope Chrome heads to PS4, the trackpad would be perfect for browsing.

I sit roughly 8.5 feet away from my 51" TV and I downloaded a 720p game vid and 1080p vid. I had my gf play one without me knowing which resolution, then play the other, I picked 1080p as better each time.
I see the difference clearly.
These arguments that people can't tell the difference between 1080p and 720p at regular viewing distance are total nonsense. Why didn't all the TV manufactures just stop at 720p then? Why go to 4K at all. There's no way that if I sit 7 feet away from a 50 inch 4K TV I won't be able to distinguish between it and 1080p judging from that graph.

Ryse does have some great graphics, hope the game is good but there's no way that it's convincing me not to get a PS4.
I'm always very happy to see great xone graphics because I know it won't be long before PS4 outdoes them.
I would have preferred rectangular as I'm not a huge fan of the design but I won't be spending much time looking at the console so who cares.
Why send free console to people who are influenced by MS's massive media might so they can just rate PS4 equal or a point lower and say,
"despite the PS4 graphics being technically better, you won't be able to tell because nothing above 720p is visible.
