Crytek games are horribly boring.
Well Crysis 1 was pretty good and same with Crysis 2. Crysis 3 was probably the most boring game I bought last gen (got it for $12) and Ryse apparently is similarly useless.
Well if Sony and MS are going back to normal cycles by releasing every 5 years then I'll just stick with consoles. I like the fact that mutiplayer on consoles is on an even playing field and that I don't have to worry about compatibility and driver issues. On PC the guy with the better hardware has a huge advantage.
Plus it seems consoles have more multimedia functions, exclusives, and major games that I'm interested I'm than steam machines and a larger soci...
They did their comparisons at review events with all the updates. You think publishers are going to try and sell their inferior versions of games to reviewer sites. They made sure they were tip top.
The retail versions are what required updates.
Every game comparison I've seen has made me very happy I bought PS4.

The Last of Of offered a superior story, plot and character development than the majority of Hollywood films.
They made a zombie-ish story into something believable and heartfelt. It placed you into the world like no similar genre movie had done and allowed for much greater character empathy and emotional attachment.

I totally disagree, I love a good cutscene and thought the Last of Us outdid most cinema in the story telling department. It should get an oscar. The characters were better developed and the plot more cohesive than the majority if Hollywood films.
Most people I know said last of us was one or the greatest game they've ever played.

MS built xone to profit from Live subscriptions then eventually profit from subsidized consoles hardware, then games. MS would probably be happy if xone became media box first games machine second as long as everyone has one and everyone is paying for Live. But, and I hope publishers realize, the people buying it for media functionality won't buy nearly as many games.

That's why I buy at launch, enjoy the shit out of them until something new comes out precisely at the moment they start becoming boring.
The PS3 gen was way too long, it made gaming boring.
Truth be told though, I have no loyalty to any company. If all the devs released their AAA on tabs then on tabs I would be gaming...so long as it's not pay to play and all touch screen controls....
