For me, the update downloaded while in standby overnight but I still had to go through the entire installation process when I woke it up this morning.

I agree, but at this time the only next-gen games I'm really interested in are third party.

They don't suck, but I find the fingers slide on them, they need more concave and a grippier rubber.
People without good sound systems are missing out. Sound contributes to the immersion immensely and is the only part of a game that can approach 1-1 with reality. Graphics are great, but their a far ways from looking real.
I amazes me that people obsess about minor graphical variations but completely ignore sound quality.
If you want a to maximize your gaming experience don't just invest in a nice TV, get a nice sound system as well. I spent way more ...

The importance of sound is often overlooked. Great sound and music contribute greatly to the immersive value of games.
Graphics won't match real life for a while but with a good sound system and game sound design, the game can at least sound real.

Every preview has stated the game is horrible, pretty, but horrible boring gameplay.
After Crysis 3 I have no faith that Crytek can actually make a great game. They've only made one very good game and that was Crysis. Every other game has simply gotten worse to the point of being completely boring (Crysis 3).

I got excited, I thought there would be a cheaper game only xone coming soon. Very disappointed when I read "game-free".
I don't care about turning my TV in worse functioning tablet. Internet browsing will still be clunky compared to computer/tablet.
The only advantage the reviewer gave to the xone controllerwas the positioning of the sticks, he preferred the triggers and shoulder buttons on DS4.
The author claims the xone positioning would produce greater accuracy but I'd have to test out personally to confirm. Although, the reviewers logic seems flawed given that aiming is done with the right stick which is on the "lower" position on both controllers.
