Injuries are part and parcel of every professional sport.
My point is if baseball wants to stop injuries then why not just make the ball softer? rather than introducing gloves and making catching so effortless and thus lessening the game.
Like it or not non-Americans look at baseball and just see grown men needing help in catching.
Cricket players can get injuries if they don't catch a ball correctly, it's part of the game and why they get paid so much as professionals.
If they want to stop players getting hurt in baseball then why not use a softer ball opposed to catching aids? why is catching made so easy?
I know a lot about baseball I have watched it sometimes (hence my being able to comment on it) and it's very similar to rounders which is played by school children here in Britain.
The main differences between baseball and rounders appears to be size of bat, type of ball and huge gloves to aid with catching and in the USA grown men play it and spit a lot to look tough.
You're the one commentating on a sport you clearly know nothing about.
The craziest part about it is you still can't even get one here in the UK, they go out of stock just as soon as they appear.

Cricket balls are smaller and heavier than a baseball so they should hurt more and you don't see our professionals complaining about it hurting when they catch a 90mph edge, nor the people in the crowd (in both sports) who celebrate after catching.
I can understand the backstop (or whatever you call him) having a glove because his vision is obscured a lot but the rest of the outfield players should be able to manage fine without.
NVidia adaptive v-sync is similar to Freesync (minus the power saving) and that has been freely available to NVidia users since last year, AMD currently have no plans to even release Freesync.
Freesync is just a marketing campaign to try and discredit g-sync, I don't know why it's even being compared to g-sync it's clearly inferior.
As a Brit I can't bare to watch baseball when it's on ESPN, I don't understand why professionals need big gloves to aid catching when people in the crowd catch the balls bare handed. Oh and them habitually spitting all of the time does my head in.
mohuzas, you need to differentiate between 'looking good' and being a technologically advanced engine. 2D games can still look great today even though it's decades old technology.
As for why less 360/PS3 games are 1080P they both have a lack of memory, Wii U has about 4 times the memory as 360/PS3 even though it's only similar in power.
G-sync reduces input lag by removing v-sync from the equation, Freesync still uses v-sync which will cause input lag... all Freesync does is smooths things out below 60fps with v-sync on similar to NVidia's FREE adaptive v-sync.
Not to mention AMD have no plans to actually release Freesync, they're just trying to piss on NVidia's parade.
If Nvidia talked about how their GPU beats Wii U in power the hardware geeks who aren't hardware illiterate like most Wii U fanboys would laugh their asses off. Like it or not the Wii U is last generation hardware (with a more generous amount of memory), the reason so many games are in 1080P is because they are very simple graphically.
They will have been talking about next gen hardware, Wii U is closer in power to PS3/360.
Like Lemondish and GentlemenRUs says a 500GB HD only stores 465GB in reality.
So PS4 uses 58GB for OS, that's still nearly half as bloated as Xbones 103GB.
Unless they replace the physical hardware Xbox One is never going to reach anything close to parity with PS4, the best it will do is what it is doing now (running at a much lower resolution).

At the moment most people are under the (Microsoft induced) illusion that the graphical gap will improve with time, that bubble will burst eventually.
I think that a lot of PD's time has been consumed by programming for PS3, not every developer is like Naughty Dog and get games running optimally on difficult hardware.
PS4 will allow PD to focus more time on the game and less time on trying to overcome obstacles.
Because PS3 and 360 don't? their catalogues are already magnitudes greater than the Wii U.
Nintendo (and their fans) need to stop kidding themselves that the Wii U is competing with the next gen consoles and accept that AT THIS POINT its nearest rivals are the previous gen, which both have it well and truly beat in most departments.
They should be committed to a mental health clinic for even bothering, Japan simply doesn't want Xbox.
It means that 360/PS3 are better products in pretty much every department and are cheaper, the only thing Wii U has on its side is Nintendo's first party titles and for most people those aren't worth getting ripped off over.
They're charging a next gen price for last gen hardware, that **** won't fly with both 360/PS3 priced considerably cheaper.
Drop the price and the rest will fall into place.
Any game that says this I'll assume the graphics are nothing special, because that's the case if Xbone can run it at 1080P.
