I'm a musician bro, I understand the ethical background on the situation.
I studied it through College and University.
Yeah, I should feel differently... but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I give my music away for free. I'd rather people heard it and added it to their digital music collection.
I consider it an advantage that you can get your work out to a potential listener so seamlessly. I don't want it streamed for free w...
Just joking fella ;)
It's a strange situation. The new consoles are all capable machines.
I've noted a correlation between, unfavourable development costs and quality of game.
The quicker the development process get's streamlined, the more favourable platform the device will be.
Have any developers commented on the difficulty to port games from PS4 to PC?
DX12 is supposed to allow for seamless porting?

Hahaha,
Law suits and the like are way too time consuming. Not only are they costly, but they'd need to bring in all sorts of evidence including ISP representatives to essentially "dob" their own customers in.
Personally, I don't believe it to kill the industry... It actually strengthens it.
The only people losing out in the music industry are the record label, the bands earn more from a tour then MP3 downloads from iTunes....
It's true...
They're not releasing AAA titles for free because they're still being used as bargaining chips for console purchase.
I'd rather a more updated feature-set then "New" old games at this point

I agree with JB.
This is a strange generation.
The only company doing anything special is Nintendo.
I feel like the next big jump for consoles is next generation.
At present I can't see where the hardware can really go.
Most successful console's have been spawned by true hardware development.

It is an alright console. With each month, the device get's better thanks to the frequent updates it receives.
Future prospects for the console are getting better by the day thanks to the XB team.
One thing I think they should consider is allowing 3rd party development of the metro visor/apps...

It seems they're more interested in pushing a game out earlier, then actually developing the game to the max. It's understandable considering the risk of losses.
But the developers/publishers are preying on the..

Resolution is not a big deal. FPS maybe... but not the be all and end all.
Device functionality, software expandability, future compatibility, user friendliness, new technology, streamlining and also, 'games to your liking' are really the most important thing this generation.
Don't say "Bloodbourne" this, "MCC" that, blah blah... because that is preferencial.

I think it's deliberate... It seems like this gen is considered a race... so it seems a little conspicuous that they're releasing minuscule/delayed updates.
It'll be one of those things where they're biding their time until sales slow...
Or they're waiting to see how it's done :L
