This year MS and EA went out in the first round.

It seems it's mobile phone companies that're getting a spanking.

Just remember that the busiest posts on here can rack up 400 comments.

Say there's 2 million console gamers out there.

That's only 0.0002% of the gaming population that give enough of a toss to get on nag and state their opinion

All the figures are far from precise, but you get the...

Lol, you're about to get slammed for being experienced in both worlds.

It'll be back up in a hour or two. Why it warrants so much attention is laughable

Yeah dude

Im old enough to think for myself.

But "mummies little angel always gets what he wants".

I don't want to play with spoilt brats... I'll take the adult console, the one that I can feed the TV I pay for, through.

The Twitch deal bothers me.

Streaming used to be worth watching because you could easily follow the pro's

Now it's just every average joe with a slow look sensitivity.

I imagine their attention is on the One at the moment. The 360 is fine for now... they can come back that issue at a later date... if they can be bothered

Both services are offering something.

Whether it caters to your needs is different.

Have fun with your 5hr rentals... Does that include the full installation time too?

Surely you remember how bad the PSN was on the PS3.

You can say "it was fine" but in my experience, PSN was diabolical. Laggy, shooting ghost hosts, disconnected all the time. This was likely because of the god awful G standard wifi adaptor they threw in to every console and the users having next to no idea what an ethernet cable was.

No party chat

XBL in previous generations was undoubtably the best place for online multiplayer gam...

Sony were right to turn down EA access... because they need all the money they can get from PSnow

... buy a vita while you're at it

Lol, Nothing is Original.

"We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours."

The discount system is bogus on PSnow and the potential EAaccess systems.

Paying for discount is contradictory.

I think it's the game "rental" service people are more interested in

I know what you mean... sounds great on paper but I'm concerned about "the vault".

I understand its in EA's interests to pool all content together, but judging by the video, there was next to now clarity on what was subscribed (vault content), and what was simply a marketplace extension for a full game purchase.

I hope it's not 'too good to be true'

I understand that newer games will be shown... available for ful...

Hmmm... Im a bit speculative.

I like that it looks really easy to access and functions like a fluid application.

It wasn't clear about what games were in the vault though and what games had to be purchased... there was also no timeline on how long games would be available for.

If EA Access is essentially a direct link to a personal marketplace... then thats not cool.

Lack of information here will be a problem as the custo...

Whatever kid... games developer's still have to learn a lot about network engineering before it'll take off.

It's use by first party studio's will become more elaborate over time and will set a new standard for the industry.

It's nice to see an avid playstation fan showing so much interest in the XB1.

It's a shame I've read the slander you write on other articles.

Whats worse is that we can't bubble you down further

Halo 5 will surely set the bar for the console.

It would be in their interests to show developers how it's done too :)

4224d ago 16 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yknow it's funny how people rave about the the "MOAR POWER" argument...

But you might also remember that the XB1 run's 3 operating systems simultaneously?

Doesn't this mean that when both systems are sporting excellent multimedia features... the XB1 will be leaps and bounds ahead with regards to multitasking?

All those apps effortlessly switching at the touch of a button/simple voice command...

Yeah there's a lot of hypocrisy floating about at the moment.

TLOU remaster... isnt a remaster.. its a port to better hardware.

PSnow represents everything people allegedly slammed the Xbox for last year.
"MS and the DRM machine..." seeing this much denial here is just astonishing.

PSnow ship has sailed, the prices are out in the open.
it's a lot of trash representing 0 value for money.

Lol

Hmmm... rent a game 5 hrs...for 5$ per month...

or rent access to a pool of games for 5$ per month?

It won't be on PS4 because it conflicts with their own agenda... you know... the bit about lifting money from their treasured fanboys pockets for digital rentals?

Common sense is common.... but many on here lack a great deal of it.

30$ for access to an ever changing pool of EA games for a year?

This is a better deal to those who buy one new EA game per year.

I think I worked out XBL is something like 11p per day.
So were looking at 16p-ish per day for both services.

Not too shabby to be fair.

Games with gold and a number if EA titles available. Brand spanking games available as standard.

Sounds like there'll always be games ...

If that's the case... If they had been working on it for 8 months... that's 1K per month each?

What about office space, computers, general bills, pension, insurance, marketing?

Not to bash MS, but the over heads are not in the developers favour.

I suppose it's a dog-eat-dog business situation out there. If you've got money.. you can make money... (kinda like stocks and shares etc)

If you can't afford to sp...
