The Pokemon go hype was crazy, it's more of an augmented reality fitness/lifestyle app, it *should* have a niche market and a bunch of people still play it like that.. its amazing it was ever doing as well as it was in the beginning.
I'm just happy they aren't rushing it. No need. Keep spending that money and make it the best damn spaceeverything game they can.
There isn't a single ND game you could beat by mashing the square button. :P
The timer was one of the most interesting and unique things about DR. It could be frustrating but I loved it.
The worst thing about getting rid of it completely is as a mechanic they never got the full potential out of it - there's a lot to be said for things that happen at certain times outside the control of the player, and if nobody's games are trying that we're missing out on some fun stuff.. No timer is much easier for the secs to do, so seems a bit lazy.

Would be great if Sony released controller grips for phones with vita-like stick layout.. push ps:now, retro and mobile games to that and you get something quite competitive and interesting.
I feel like Sony turned their back on the handheld hardware market a while back and really doubt there'll be another full handheld after the vita so it might make sense to just raise the devices people already have to a gamer friendly level.
Lords Of Shadow was pretty great IMO.. oh well.
SH4 is under appreciated, even more so as time passes and we see what anyone else does with the franchise..

I see where they're going.. they were going for a cinematic but immersive experience when they made the early games, and technology dictated how they should do it and still have decent graphics and atmosphere.
I'm sure RE7 will be great anyway, everything I've seen so far has been positive. Mixing things up isn't a bad move.
Switch is such a wildcard.. if they quickly wrap up the 3DS and move all handheld dev over to the switch I see it being very successful.. I don't anticipate that happening though.

I've been playing survival in NMS and this is absolutely true in that game now too.. the planet I was on - the nights were so cold it took me hours to get off the first damn planet I had to keep finding shelter and crabs wanted to kill me..
Survival is pretty much the game I think a lot of players were rolep...
What irks me about the vocal haters is the fact they dismiss wholesale anyone who *actually likes* the original game. There are a lot of us. It's nothing to do with bad standards, it's literally a case of subjectively enjoying different gameplay/ambiance to someone else.
It's clearly not for everyone but it's certainly a lot closer to a more traditional experience with survival mode.
If you like discovering and naming weird random creatures and exploring randomly generated terrain while updraft get stuff and collecting things..
It's actually a very strong game, just has strange scope that a lot of people don't get into. It has some nice lore too.
There is no design/intention in nature. Homosexuality is natural and occurs across all sorts of different animal species up to and including humans.
It's harmless having occasional gay characters. It makes sense some would be, if they have a large number of canonically straight chars it makes sense to have occasional gay ones too, as in real life.
