Yup, it's keeping them afloat during their hard times. Their CPU business isn't as good as it used to be, but at least their graphics (ATi) division is doing pretty damn good in general.
Because those are the guys that put mr. Cerny there in that position. Which was an extremely wise choice.
I didn't like the design at first, but after awhile it looks good mostly because it stands out and is a unique design. It isn't just a giant rectangle box with vents with a motherboard in it.
Yeah that and BF4 brings PC GPU's to their knees already, I mean it takes a GTX 780Ti OC to get Ultra on that game at 1920x1200 avg 62fps, so I'm not surprised they are even able to get 900p 60fps on the PS4.

I've compiled the list of non 1080p games that we know of on the PS4. It took me awhile.
1. Battlefield 4
“Microsoft is much more close-minded than the Sony guys,” he asserted. “It’s really hard to get a free-to-play game on a Microsoft platform; you need to talk to them on a case-by-case scenario. And they’re not allowing cross-platform play at all. That means, in the current stage, [Xbox One] is not really the right platform for us.”
It's strange how everything is so reversed this generation. Sony learned from their mistakes with the PS3, and Microsoft is making Sony's ...
Yeah the difference between the X360 version and the PS3 version is around 98,400 pixels which is a 17% difference.
But man that's basically PS Vita resolution on the PS3. O_o
On X1 vs PS4 it's 921,600 vs 2,073,600 pixels. A much much bigger gap in disparity.
LOL
Yikes the PS3 version is terrible. It's almost half of 720p. This is strange seeing as how mw1 and mw2 ran great but have been on a technical decline since.
Just let them have this so they can feel be better about themselves. Remember 1080p doesn't matter and you can't see the difference? Only when they say so. O_o
That sucks, I'm not a ninja so I can't play free.
The reason there's that train of thought is because of analyst non gamers who see a number like "angry birds downloaded 30 million times" automatically assume it's the end of dedicated games consoles.
I don't ever see dedicated games console going anywhere time soon, but dedicated gaming hand helds have been on a decline since mobile gaming.
I'm going to slightly agree here that I think it's a rough and rushed launch title and could need at least 6 more months of development. I mean if the x1 could do bf4 at 720p/60fps, there's no reason this title couldn't do a locked 30fps even with those hardware limitations. I think Microsoft pushed capcom to rush this out for launch just so they have something.
It is an bit odd that they can't even get locked 30fps. While yes it has 3x more zombies, it looks like they could do this on current gen hardware.
I dunno I'm getting the feeling its a rushed port.
Nothing wrong about the truth. In fact he says one of the best things about their approach with the PS4
"It’s just that when we go out and we talk about it, we talk about it as primarily a game console. And by the way, it does those other things too."
You read that? Primarily a game console. Which is absolutely correct for gamers.
Um no, you have to make extreme predictions, be wrong a majority of the time, and say stuff people already know.
Then you'll get his job.
Yup
And this is also why the PS4 will outsell the X1, on top of plenty of other reasons.
"The new console hits U.S. stores on Nov. 15, followed by Europe on Nov. 29, and will reach 32 countries for the holidays. Microsoft’s Xbox One will debut in 13 countries a week later, down from an original target of 21 markets."
That's what he's implying, that while it is a real thing, it is being used like a BuzzWord. TeH Cloud this, TeH Cloud that.
Why are people judging Knack when nobody has played it yet.
For all we know it could end up being one of the better games of this generation.
lol I agree, BC2 is still an awesome looking game.
