I game on pc and some of the biggest performance boosts don't come from more powerful hardware, but from optimised drivers.

The article was a good report of the 10% boost for the XB1.
But why did he feel the need to give the PS4 a 'boost' too with the remarks about 8GB of GDDR? PS4 has nothing to do with the XB1 getting a driver update.

As much as I love the graphics on Forza5, this does look incredible.
However, you are absolutely correct. How it plays is just as, if not more, important than the visuals. This is where Forza and GT excel.
More so on PS4.

Look up at HelpfulGamer's post please where he states that extremely high end pc GPU's don't overheat. Yeah I know that, because they have their own insane cooling. I'm saying at present you couldn't put one of those GPU's onto the same CPU die and not expect it to be far too hot for everyday use as in a console.
Also the comment about PS4 GPU being weak as, was a comparison to the high end PC GPU's he mentioned. I'm not saying the...
The fan is a downblast like the vast majority of pc cpu coolers.
Even if it was a 'suction' as you put it, the vacuum effect isn't great enough to lift thermal paste.

They don't overheat. Yeah, they are separate cards and not on the same die as the CPU.
The PS4 APU contains a weak as GPU, so not a good comparison.
Put either of those GPU next to the CPU and you best dial 999.
Should have had the servers in place to handle the extra traffic.
