I've just built a 'cheap' i3 4130 and 7870 Tahiti system for a friend. Its not the chip id have chosen, i5 'k' all the way, but its frame rock totally rocks for the price.
My sandybridge i5 2500k is clocked to 4.7GHz and smashes the ass off anything I throw at it.
True, few people can game at 4K.
However a huge amount of pc players can smash this game at 1080p and make it look beyond ps4 ;-)
This takes drive club out to the shed and blows the mother away.

If it had huge amounts of players, it would be crap like COD. Very little tactics involved. Just walk around a corner, you're bound to see someone to shoot.
At least having 6x6, it makes the game more tight and forces players to think about their next move so to speak.

Which, agreed, is not a true quad core like the i5, but it goes some way towards bridging the gap.
As a free game it looks good. But its nothing fantastic.

I've just bought an oem nvidia 660 from a friend for £60 and overclocked the ass of it. Plays BF3 full hd no problem. Why would I need this? Getting triple digit frame rates is nuts. I suppose for 4K gaming, but still. Why?
