i'd get it. i have it on psp, too. it was an incredible game, and i'd love to play it on my tv with dual analog.

did anyone else see the title and think it was the band The Who saying this?

hmm i'm confused. wouldn't this require a massive FPS boost? i'm not exactly sure how this type of 3d tech works.. does each eye get its own frame, altering back and forth? i take it each eye isn't displayed at the same time? so wouldn't they need to boost it to 60 fps to make it appear to run at 30fps? and isn't 30 on each eye supposed to look like ass? or does this not matter, since every 2nd frame just shows the same instance in time as the frame before it, but from a slightly differ...

I remember when they first announced this game as a Castlevania title, they mentioned it was open-world. Does anyone know if that's still true? Or did they opt for a more linear or level-based design?

yeah haha i figured home space or that someone churned out a pc mod VERY quickly

"Why bother fleshing out the history of the Old Republic when the two video games only gave fans a taste of what that universe had to offer? It’d be like if George Lucas suddenly decided to make The Phantom Menace right after they made Empire Strikes Back."

This is such a great point. I'm looking forward to TOR, despite the fact that I hate MMOs, but it doesn't feel right. I REALLY want KOTOR 3. Obsidian really wants to do it, too, but it's all in LucasArts hands and...

wow, that's really impressive for 2004

nintendo is being surprisingly babyish about this. i think they're unsettled that their gimmick finally has competition that it needs to differentiate itself from.

They're obviously testing the waters and gearing up to launch their own digital distribution platform for their own games, only you won't be able to play your games offline, so they won't really be YOUR games. I first started thinking this when I saw all that uplay sh!t that no one ever cared about.

On a vaguely related note, I think Steam should offer a service where you can swap games with other users. What do they care? If you trade someone a $10 game for a $50 game, Steam ...

That's cuz IGN blows now, and Gamespot genuinely seemed to learn something from the Kane and Lynch fiasco. They've been a lot more honest about games since then, and I've come to trust their reviews and awards way more than IGN in the past couple years.

Wow, okay ”activision,” good luck with that. Guess it was just a matter of time before ea f!cked up the somewhat positive image they were starting to gain.

All I really care about with either of these is head-tracking. Both are definitely capable, I mean that one Australian IT student did it with one crappy webcam and the source engine. I think it's a shame that nothing is being shown off in that regard.

That's not the point. The point is they're censoring dissent against the government. However you feel about the president has absolutely nothing to do with this.

What's with this "Eggman" crap? It's Dr Robotnik, dammit!

They really should've kept the focus on more hardcore games. It pisses me off that Sony and MS are trying to tackle the Wii market. It's a massive waste of money that could be spent on making massive, bombastic titles to blow everyone's socks off. Seriously, SCEE shelved Getaway and Eight Days for the EYEPET?!?!? What are they thinking?!?

I'm pumped for it.. I hope it has real-time combat like KH. Do you think it'll be set in the same universe as 13, but in a completely different time period? Not sure why it'd carry the "13" branding if it wasn't linked to original 13 in some way..

Here's my experience. I've been trying to break into FF games for a long time now, and 13 is the first game that really hooked me, simply because it feels like a tutorial to the rest of the series. There's less to micro-manage, less to get overwhelmed by, and everything is easier to take in because it's so linear.

I tried 7 about a year ago, I was REALLY into it, but before I was off the 1st disc I completely lost interest. No specific reason (aside from the obnoxious random b...

Yeah, it would've been awesome. Though this is different in that it seems this game is running on the hardware of each device.. im guessing it just records saves with a steamcloud-ish service. Still, it's another small step in the direction of being able to play home console games remotely, which is a pretty amazing concept.
