It's the retail end that matters at the end if the day.
People could say that about any series. Uncharted 3 could show signs of being on the decline, GT5 could as well since reviews were lower. God of War as well. That's how a cynical person would act towards a company they never seem to say anything positive about. That's not me. Why should I? I am a gamer, not a corporate backer who looks at these games as what system they are on from a biased point of view instead of it being just about the games.

Those who think the Xbox One won't be a game console are very misinformed. And anyone who tells others no gamer should consider it are just ignorant. It's like telling PC gamers to skip Steam.
The article isn't fanboyish, it's a legitimate concern. They could very well be made up of Kinect only or Arcade games. So far 2 games would be part of that 15, that is Forza 5 and Quantum Break. Microsoft has been busy building new studios and have said they invested 1 billion dollars into games. Well just have to see what they are.
I think I'm going to wait on both systems. They all seem to have their growing pains in the beginning. Online issues, limited software, online services not ready at launch and so on. I still have quite the backlog of games to play on my PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Gt6 will also keep me busy for months.
Adam Sessler had a Google chat with guests after the Xbox One was announced. It was brought up more than once that Sony wasn't very specific on the whole used games issues. Go ahead and listen for yourself but I imagine you don't feel the need to because your convinced what Sony has said about the issue is good enough for you. That's fine but many journalists have also kept raising the issue. I hope Sony does keep things the way they are now on the PS3 but I will wait for further ...
They will have to because once the system is banned then what? You will essentially have a big black box unable to do much. It will be interesting to see how they deal with banned consoles.

Short answer, no. Not unless the Xbox One surprises us all and becomes a must have device where Japan will eventually jump onboard as well like they did with the ipod. Right now the big black box probably doesn't seem to appealing to them just by the sheer size of it.
Yup, good news. This will work much better than it does on the PS3 and could further hurt the Wii U or help the Wii U depending on how you look at it. If this turns out to be a successful avenue more developers might support the Wii U.
All this dual screen remote play, Wii U and Smartglass is intriguing.
You're right, we still have months to go before any of these even ship to retailers. We also haven't even heard the full story of what each system will offer, what all the games will be and more importantly the price. There is also no confirmation what regions they will come out in this year.
I think it's a bit silly to be pre-ordering any of them until we know more.

Is Adam Sessler a shill too? He too said the same thing, that Sony is also a bit vague and are playing word games. Both the Xbox One and PS4 will play used games but we don't know what additional fees, or if they are locked to your account on the PS4 and how easy it will be to lend your games.

As a gaming console it's almost non-existent? Where do you get your facts from? They have invested a billion dollars, have 15 exclusives planned for the first year alone, 8 of which are new ip's. They already teased us with Forza 5 and Quantum Break, both exclusive titles. They already teased us with EA sports games and the new Call of Duty even though they said the press event wasn't going to focus on the games, that will come at E3.

I think it's also arrogant to think anyone who would still buy a PS4, even if it did support some sort of DRM, is an idiot. The fact is people buy digital games all the time right now on the PS3. It also already had DRM in certain games like Final Fight. Anything you buy in the store cannot be resold. Some Vita games are only available within the store as well.

The point is nobody should tell people they are gamers and they go into each console and generalize about all of them while putting the most negative spin on them. Are we actually gamers or just corporate backers?
When someone has a negative view of everything that system has to offer something is up, and usually it's because they see that system as a threat so they will advocate as much as possible that the system has nothing to offer.
