Even after E3 people will have their pitchforks ready. We will see some great games and sadly some will ignore them to keep the hate alive.
2015. This sounds legit, lol.
"PlayStation 4 is not a permanent connection system in that sense, but the experience is much richer if you are connected. You will have access to digital content and updates your games, along with a wide range of social functions: upload videos and screenshots, see your friends play and interact with them in various ways within the games."
Did he say you don't ever have to be connected?
@DragonKnoght
"Shut up Keighley."
Why should he? Why can't anybody be excited for E3? He also knows a lot more than you and I of what to expect since he is constantly in contact with developers and Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.
Lots of people are excited, it's a new generation.
"I mean, why all the need for articles that talk about how PC is more powerful than consoles?"
Because what it is saying is next gen is already here on the PC. How many times did Sony mention how powerful the PS3 was when it got announced? So it seems to me numbers matter to them. How many times have we heard about how much more powerful the PS3 was to the Xbox 360? It's all relative to the PC. If people are going to continue to try and promote their preferred c...
"What's there to be insecure about? You're implying Sony fans, but I think we're all pretty secure and happy in the knowledge that our next console of choice won't have any of this crap."
How about going into Xbox related articles for years never saying anything positive while scouring the comments making sure nobody says anything bad about Sony for starters. If people don't like the Xbox brand they wouldn't be going out of their way to confl...
@14Feb-R
"The situation here isn't the same. TLOU is already made on ps4 spec but scaled down to ps3."
Then why is there no PS4 release?
"The engine they are using is for Next generation not like COD, COD using a ps2 engine that only been upgraded a little bit."
Lol, sure.
@Wizziokid
A lot of that had to do with the PS3 being rather difficult to work on, at least in the beginning. What's interesting is how people are actually commending Sony for now listening to developers and making a system that is now easy to work on which they could have done all along. Instead they thought they could force developers to adapt like they did on the PS2. Difference was the PS2 had such control of the market back then that you were pretty much forced to le...
Good to hear.
If the games are good people will get past the fact they are tied to your account just like those who buy Steam games, games bought on the Xbox store, Playstation store and Nintendo store. It sounds like physical discs will be kind of like digital copies except you can sell them and buy used games. We still don't know the full details how all of this will work.
You have publishers worried about used game sales and piracy. Argue against that all you want but from their vie...
They say something positive about Sony and how they embrace smaller studios and yet people still come back with negative attitudes about them. Lol
Last gen. people on here kept saying the media was against the PS3, now they have for the most part been very favourable to the PS4, but if anyone says anything to defend the Xbox One or anything positive about it they are either employees or being paid. It never ceases to amaze me how some keep up the conspiracy theories.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say Killzone: Shadow Fall will be delayed to early next year. They won't want to compete with Call of Duty: Ghosts. Instead I hope to see The Last Guardian take its place.
It was bound to happen, people will be far more lenient to things they like. We've seen it all the time with the double standards.
The bottom line is as long as the game is good that's all that really matters. Of course they will take advantage of the PS4's better hardware.
They are probably still in negotiations but of course they will want a piece of the pie as they should.
From the article,
"This news is only good and yet it is confusing players around the world. Players fear that they will be required to buy a Vita to play their games (false), they are afraid that it will cost developers extra money to do which will result in them paying more for games (false) and they worry that they will also be restricted to playing in their homes."
I'm not confused, who did they poll? I think it's a great move by Sony. Who wouldn&...

@DragonKnight,
"They say they spent $1 billion on games and have 15 games to show, that's approx 66,666,666.67 a game. If they spent that money on all 15 games, those are 15 AAA Budget games. But given their track record with E3 promises, no one should hold their breath."
Nobody should hold their breath and nobody should discredit them either. It's not that far away so there's no point in shedding the darkest picture possible or the brightest. Wh...
How can they be competing if you think one is for gamers and the other isn't? The reality is you are right, they are both very much game consoles while also trying to be a entertainment box. Nintendo is the one who focuses on the system being about games first and foremost. They don't even offer movie playback. Sony pushed 3D and bluray to support their other electronic divisions while also having a movie and music channel because Sony has their hands in those industries as well. Micr...
I think this is getting a little out of hand. Now they have restrictions each month. There is a cap on Arcade games and so on. Why not just offer new challenges each month and if one developers is really in tune with the community allow them to do what they want.
