@dedicatedtogamers,
"Maybe gamers on the internet are blowing it out of proportion, but the real nightmare begins once this thing hits store shelves, and when the same people who couldn't understand Wii-U was a new console get a hold of this"
Ok. So how does this pertain to you? Why don't you focus on 'YOUR' argument and not trying to educate everyone (which is laughable given you have been posting misinformation in the past such as ...
Great, then we shall see how you and your lawyer do fighting Microsoft. After all, you two seem to think you know everything even though just a couple of days ago you informed us all the Xbox One wouldn't even allow used games.

But many of us are, better than others. What's amazing to me is the confidence that Sony will win yet those same people seem to be the most upset over the Xbox One. Seems to me they are the ones who are having issues dealing with it which is quite ironic considering they keep saying there is no way the PS4 will do what the Xbox One will that they seem to have issues with. Which begs the question, why are they the most unhappy?
But who are the ones being the most vocal and the most upset when in reality they had no intentions of buying it in the first place even before details surfaced?
Oh well, those of us with funds to support this hobby will carry on. Doesn't bother me, I have plenty of choices. The PS4, the Wii U, the Xbox One, the PC. I owned more than one platform this gen. it's likely to happen again.
So basically it comes down to this, years of telling people not to buy the Xbox 360 because it offered no hardcore games to now telling people the Xbox One may have games but it's anti-consumer.
Thanks for your input. E3 should be a great show, sad you won't be participating in the games discussion surrounding the Xbox one.

You act like that's a bad thing.

The issues people are having with it all seem to stem on principle. That's where you as a consumer have a great option, don't buy the Xbox One. Isn't that an amazing concept, to be able to decide to buy one or not? To be able to buy something else? Amazing isn't it? No, instead we have those who need to dwell on things. Act like they have no choice but to vent frustration. Act like they have had all their consumer rights stripped away. All that goes...
"I do what I frigin' like with MY property thank you."
No you can't. They have the right to restrict access if you mod your hardware for example. Sony had a right to remove the other OS feature from the PS3 as they seen it as a loophole to hacking but later on the bluray code was broken which allows pirated games now. This is why Sony is constantly updated the security with patches. The Xbox 360 was hit with even more piracy issues. This is what happens when...

@Darrius Cole,
"This is just common sense. Why would you pay the same price to use a game that you don't own when you could pay the same price and own it free and clear."
People already do it all the time when buying items off of the Playstation Store, Xbox Live, Nintendo Network and Steam. It's called convenience. You will own those Xbox one games, you will be able to sell them. The difference is only to authorized dealers.

@Mr_Nuts,
"Why though, being honest why do you really want an Xbox One"
Because it's always been about the experience. We pay $10 or more to see a 2 hour movie. It's an experience we hope to enjoy. So as a consumer it is your job to determine what you're willing to pay for those experiences. What exactly is MS doing that strips away those experiences?

Don't worry Ducky, you'll get a lot of that attitude here. On one point they cry wolf saying they should have the right to voice their opinion against the Xbox One but the second you say you don't mind the system or are looking forward to it you get called a shill, a MS employee and other immature comments. So much for democracy. They want the freedom to express themselves but the minute you go against their views watch out, democracy goes out the window.
