3 of those games are on ps4, and Returnal and R&C totally could’ve been gutted of extra effects to run on ps4 if it wasn’t their baked in need for adaptive triggers.
So, the only game that really blows my hair back in terms of graphics is Demons Souls.
But of course I love Returnal and those other games. I would’ve killed to have just ONE game as cool as Returnal made just for the XsX.

Ps5 doesn’t have a ton either, but so far my XsX has just been a place to play PUBG properly (unfortunately it never got patched well for ps5/4).
Or, finish the game before the end of a gen next time, that way you aren’t held back by developing a port for hardware that most people ultimately won’t even end up using for your game.
It should’ve launched 2 years later on ps5 and XsX only, and with more features like more branching stories, as well as world coloring like actual animations for rip doc visits.
I think people are just concerned that they aren’t getting the most out of their new console.
I am happy at the moment, but I’m also expecting a lot from the PS5’s 3rd year. I want to see at least teasers for more games (other than Demons Souls) that can’t run on ps4’s hardware, aside from just adaptive triggers requirements like Returnal.

Bungie WAS the dev behind Halo, the single greatest reason to own an Xbox. 343i is what is left of that dev after Bungie devs left because they didn’t want to make Halo anymore.
343i isn’t Bungie at all, but they are what little remains of the people that worked on the OG Halo games.
I hope Bethesda doesn’t dissolve like Bungie dissolved into 343i.
M$ owns the companies and IPs, not the specific devs that made them great.

The title should’ve been “Best Games to Play on Your XsX, the strongest console without anything to really show off the hardware for 2 straight years.”
