I wasn't an MS fanboy until I bought my 360 at the end of November. Last generation I had a PS2 as my main box with a XBox as my secondary . I had about 10 games total for XBox and hundreds of PS2 and PS1 games.(I had more games for my DC than my XBox). Every single thing that this guy thinks is going to happen cost a sh1tload of money to make happen. Sony doesn't have the money needed to do any of those things. Microsoft does, though, and they could do an end run around Sony and buy up some of their best developers and turn them to 360.

being able to fill orders is good news ASSUMING that you have orders to fill, which Sony does NOT.
Because they only want first party games to take full advantage of the resolutions. Now that the word is out that it is in there, developers will be doing some reverse engineering to gain full access to it and make games competitive with first party ones.
There's over 150 games out for 360. GoW is just one of them. If GoW sold 3 million, that means the other 149+ games sold 51 million which is easily achievable. It also isn't clear if the attach rate figures include XBLA games or not. Doing the math it comes out to each game selling a little under 350,000 copies.

It WAS bad when Sony had production problems and couldn't meet initial demand. It IS bad that Sony has sorted their production issues and the demand they thought there would be is not there. The fact that PS3 sits on store shelves for weeks can in no way be interpreted as good news.

Obviously not so independent. I don't see where being a member should have any effect on the nominating and voting. This organization is clearly biased and looking to protect it's members by making sure that no company ever gets any recognition other than ones that pay to join.
