This is a game like Hot Shots Golf for PS1 or Tee Off for Dreamcast, both of which I loved playing. I am definitely getting a Wii once I see one for sale again. (What is it about anime characters with big heads that sells golf games??)
Woo Hoo. I hope I get in. Since it isn't first come, first served, I would imagine they want a good mix of demographics trying it out so they can get better data as to what aspects of the game appeals to which groups.
but will anybody care?? Firstly, it's for PSP, secondly...it's Little Britain. We'll probably be seeing a Borat game next.
far and wide to campout for launch day only to find out that most of the Wii's were already pre-sold. All the people in the video that was shown here with the 3,000+ people camped outside BIC were disappointed to find out that all 2800 units they had were pre-sold the day before. They were pre-selling them at a rate of 300 per hour. It must suck to camp out and then find out you wasted your time.
You have to use Internet Explorer to access the registration site. Sorry, Firefoxers, but you're out of luck.
PS2 for $300?? Why when the PS2 is only $129 here, and why the hell is 360 being sold for $800??? Are they insane???
is gonna kill Sony with games like that. Everyone loves the classics.
HD-DVD use MPEG-4 encoding. Blu Ray uses MPEG-2. The difference in quality and file sizes between the two is huge. HD-DVD doesn't need 50GB of space on the disc because their data doesn't take up as much space to begin with. Studios that go with HD-DVD can also use the second side of the disc to sell a regular DVD version that can be played on existing players. When the owner of the old DVD player is ready to move up, he doesn't have to buy his movies all over again, because he already has th...
aren't you paying attention?? The 360 HD-DVD player can also be used with a PC, which most people have already.
it'll burn out just like all the PS2's that burned out from playing movies. I'll keep my movie viewing seperate from my gaming so if my movie player does burn out, it's only a $200 loss instead of a $600 one and I can still keep playing my games until my new movie player arrives.
trying to assimilate you into the collective. ;-D
I want an update for 1600x1200. :-)
a big Saturn booster back in the day. It seemed to make more sense. Every store I went into had huge displays of Saturn titles and only a small one for Playstation. Complexity and price ended up killing the Saturn, but Microsoft won't have that problem as they are the ones with the price advantage and because the XBox's are so similar to PC's when it comes to programming, it's not hard for anyone who makes PC games to start up an XBox development team.
I can see some really desperate fanboys kidnapping babies and rushing them down to the radio station to trade for a PS3. Nice stunt radio jerks.
a SMB mini game that can be controlled by Wii-mote, why can't you play the downloadable version of SMB using it??
but this I don't. The balance of that thing has got to be horrible with the full weight of the battery pack on one side. I agree that it gives gamers with special needs an option that they didn't have before, but that market probably isn't big enough to put this into large scale production.
Retailers have been stocking up on X360 consoles knowing that both PS3 and Wii were going to be in short supply this Christmas and are pushing them hard on customers who can't get one of the other two. A lot of potential PS3 and Wii customers are buying 360's because they are available now and aren't waiting until supplies of the other two get better. That situation is far worse news for Sony than it is for Nintendo, because even after buying a 360, most people will still be able to buy a Wii...
Splatterhouse and Bonk's Adventure. :-D
oops replied to wrong post, heh.
