And the copy is low resolution, so there really is no point to it, and with the hardware you need to stream the HD data, it is cheaper just to pick up two copies of the movie and leave one wrapped as your backup.

When you play some of these games, it is a natural instinct to release the controller. When you pitch a baseball, you release it at the end of your swing. When you bowl, you release the ball at the end of your swing. People are only doing what comes naturally and it is causing damage. Since Apple has come down on the side of Blu Ray,that MS included software for Macs on the install disc. I would have thought any Mac drivers for the MS HD-DVD player would have to be created by the Mac community if they really wanted it. I guess it could be seen as a way for Microsoft to undermine Apple's effort to push B-R onto the Mac community by providing them with a cheaper alternative,though.

Their CS practices have been marginal from the start. It is BS that you send a unit in for repairs, and they don't even send you the same unit back. When you buy a warranty, it is tied to the serial number that you registered with. If they send you back a unit with a different serial number, does that mean you no longer have a warranty??
but there is a big difference between banning someone from the community and destroying their property. And not all mods are intended to give someone an advantage during gameplay. It still comes down to, yes, Microsoft does have the right to ban you from community play if they perceive that you are using a mod that gives you an unfair advantage, but they do not have the right to destroy your system over it.
