is really more about getting studios to drop Blu Ray support in addition to adding more HD-DVD support. HD-DVD is already outselling Blu Ray by a wide margin. Continued support of Blu Ray will only hurt consumers by forcing them to choose up sides and many will end up buying equipment that will be obsoleted as soon as one of the formats gains dominance, which HD-DVD is doing already. The petition is to spare people from the agony of choosing the wrong format and then having to spend money on ...
They say that Sony has brought the cost of Blu Ray players down to equivalent of HD-DVD players. What a lie. If that were true Sony would not be taking such a huge loss on the PS3 and their own Blu Ray player would not cost $900. I expect better than this from you, M.R.
than be the poor kid at the top of this thread who got stuck with a new Gamecube. All his friends at school will make fun of him and kick his a$$. Parents can be so stupid sometimes.
there was no internet, at least not as we know it today, back during the VHS/Beta wars to tell film distributors how I felt, but I'm sure as hell telling them now. Just say 'no' to Sony.
the Sony fanboys will be using that as their basis of comparison when they try to tell us how Lair beats everything on the 360.
if EA is still devoting 40 percent of their programming efforts to 360/ 40 percent to Wii/ and only 20% to PS3, that says to me that any new and original content will be released for 360 and Wii, and PS3 will be lucky if they get a port of any of them other than the sports titles, which they pretty much have to release on all three because that's where their bread and butter is. If EA starts snubbing the PS3, don't you think other developers are going to start doing the same?? (Didn't they al...
The 360 isn't green. Neither was the first XBox.
this one should get the attention of the Japanese.
they are still following the 40/40/20 philosophy they espoused this past summer???
I will be getting this.
they are delaying further shipping until they replace the thin wrist strap connectors?? They did short Australia and Europe on launch day, so maybe that has something to do with it.
for a system that only has 13 games. LOL!!!!
every story where a Wiimote goes flying is not because the wrist strap itself breaks, it is the thin little piece of string that attaches the strap to the Wiimote that breaks and when people have sweaty hands or they accidentally release their grip a little too much, it goes sailing through the air. Don't use a Wii if you have a plasma TV. Once you crack the screen, it becomes useless because they are filled with gas that leaks out and it's cheaper to buy a new tv than to replace the screen. ...
than COD3 on the Wii.
who don't like PS3 or Blu Ray or Sony in general. I just can't realistically see Sony winning this multi-front war that they started.
The PS3 can't even do it consistently without becoming laggy, according to this review. That's a whole helluva lot of pixels to be pushing around the screen at the same time. Sony is trying to do too much, too soon.
I also heard a rumor of a new Limited Edition re-release of the original GRAW coming soon with a special features disc packed in, so it is very possible they may both arrive at around the same time.
if you pick a penny up off the street, you make more profit than Sony.
Sony fanboys like Pr0n!!
If you are planning on being a PC gamer, then you had better be buying Windows Vista because you won't be getting DX10 or Shader Model 4.0 support any other way.
