why the hell they made emulation geared to individual games instead of an emulator that plays all games?? It's a lotmore efficient to make a one size fits all emulator otherwise we are not getting a true emulator but bleem!XBox for the 360 and we saw what happened when bleem! tried to make seperate emulators for each game. They died out.
I wasn't going to spend $600 for the backwards compatibility. I was going to get a PS3 before the prices were announced. As soon as they announced the prices, I decided to get a 360 and a replacement PS2 instead.
the laser doesn't read a lot of my discs anymore. Instead of getting a new PS2, I was originally going to get a PS3 instead. This was over a year ago. Then when all the Sh1t started hitting the fan and the price was announced, I said screw PS3. And yes, backwards compatibility was a big factor for me. I have hundreds of PS1 and PS2 games.

If Europeans knew it would be another 10 months before they were able to buy a PS3, they would abandon Sony in a heartbeat. This is an attempt at damage control, nothing more.
I remember back in the old days piracy was killing software development on the Atari 800 and Commodore 64. It's a good day for gamers when guys like this get busted because it gives publishers incentive to make better games without fear that is going to end up on a file sharing service or distributed by other underground methods.

I was planning to get a PS3 originally for the backwards compatibility, but now I'm even more glad I changed my mind and got 360 instead. I'll be getting a new PS2 for all my old games that much sooner now that I see the difference and that will be my last Sony purchase for a long time.
follow S-E's lead in this, particularly Koei. I love the Dynasty Warriors and Romance of the Three Kingdoms games. If you go to their forums and ask if they plan to do a 360 conversion, they will answer "No" or "Not at this time" or "Sony comes first" and lock the thread immediately. Definitely a company made up of Sony fanboys.

Not only did this cop go in with guns blazing, but he went in and headshotted the dude. Headshots are not usually accidental. Also, cops are supposed to be trained to wound first and only kill as a last resort. This cop should have been charged with murder.
they will still be releasing their stuff on DVD, so HD-DVD users will still get to see it. Until they kill off DVD, consumers are going to be slower to adopt the newer technologies.
