It defeats the purpose of Blu Ray to offer movie downloads. Why would PS3 owners go out and buy Blu Ray discs, when they can just download the movies they want to the hard drive for less money?? Offering downloadable movies ensures that Sony loses the optical format war.

What he means is a few months after you buy this game, you will not be playing it anymore. Gamestop and EB Games will have tons of these used on the shelf a couple or three months after it is released from disappointed people trading it in.
The only category RFOM is winning in is vehicles. They do have a wider variety of vehicles than GoW, but that still isn't enough to offset everything else.

it launched when Sony said it would. They never said anything at any time about launching at the same time as Dreamcast. PS3 IS late because Sony said it would launch in the spring, just a few months after 360, but it kept getting pushed back because of all the problems.
I'm sure someone out there is working on a way to hack the content over a PC link possibly with a way to upload a hacked unlock codes from your PC to your 360 hard drive. Once the codes are had, all you really have to do is emulate the marketplace server on a PC and then redirect the 360 to your emulated marketplace IP address and then download the codes from the PC to unlock the content.

With all the speakers gathered around your ears, you won't get much of a surround effect. The whole purpose of having all those speakers in a surround system is to spread them around the room to give the illusion that the sounds are coming at you from different directions. That would be like taking your surround speakers down from where they are and stacking them neatly in front of you in one place.
For some reason iDVD makes me think immediately of CDi. CDi didn't sell and the concept of iDVD seems very similar.

Ingame advertising can't work. Advertising, by it's nature, has to draw your attention away from other things. You're not going to stop your car mid race to look at a Coke billboard by the side of the road in game or stop shooting at terrorists because there is a vending machine with the name of a real world product nearby. For anyone who doesn't already know,you have Pocket Bike Racer, in which you race around different courses on a tiny motorcycle. Sneak King, which is a stealth mission game where you try to deliver food to hungry people without being seen, and Big Bumpin, in which you try to eliminate competitors in several different games, all involving bumper cars. Don't dismiss these games just because they are $4 from Burger King. They are really fun to play and come on dual format discs for original XBox...
