Not sure how the deal with MS was for Witcher 2, but they might have full console exclusivity for it.
2nd game doesnt need an HD remake, it still looks pretty good.
If they revamp the combat for Witcher 1 it wouldn't be the great game that it was (it's my fav game). Witcher 1 wasn't about the combat, it was about preparing for combat, read books for info on your enemy, brew potions, build traps, get the good oil for your blade(s) etc,
The clicking itself wasn't the most exiting thing I agree but changing the combat would feel wrong.

There are enough multiplayer games that don't require microtransactions or subs, and multiplayer games are more popular than single player games in this day and age. CS:Go, Overwatch, Dota 2 etc are all great examples of multiplayer games that are not p2w and constantly keep growing in popularity.

Loved turok back in the day and still do, but when i played it around 1.5 years back i noticed that it really didn't age well. Still had a great time though.

@ciporta that is a time investment of lets say 20 hours each 1-2 years or so. as far as i know there is no known case of someone reading the same book over and over 24/7.

there can also be gaming addiction without spending money. mmorpgs, competetive games don't require a money sink.
@lord_Sloth you obviously never experienced addiction yourself or someone close to you being addicted to something other than drugs. It has nothing to do with willpower and especially with gaming it has hardly anything to do with money (yes there are those money leeching facebook/mobile games, but i think mmorpg's are more to blame here which doesn't require a lot of money).

i do think they appael to the same audience, most players who play pubg, fortnite etc also like overwatch /cs/lawbreakers. But to say that pubg ruined their release is just ignorance.
CliffyB ruined the game by sitting on his high horse. At least he finally got kicked off it and is now humble as fuck. Also there was hardly any promotion for the game.

@NoBatmans, ah the same thing that sony does. Destiny conent, Grim Fandango, Call of Duty, batman(was even more during ps3 era). But when that happens you guys all bathe in rejoice instead of letting Sony know its a fucking scumbag move. When xbox does it u guys just hate on them and say how bad of a move it is etc (u know the drill).
