I realize that you responded to bigpappy, and guess what? it seems he is right about phil, VR has been lackluster so far and Phil kind of predicted it.
I really never see xbox owners trying to discredit Sony as badly as vice versa. I don't care which console is your favorite, even is its the Atari Jaguar, there is no reason to flame one company on every topic (even if the topic is not even about them).
I'm actually surprised i got as many upvotes ...
What does Kinect have to do with this?
This is about Bethesda making a garbage VR game(apparently), not which console maker fucked over their consumer the most.
this is N4g basically now. bunch of ps4 loving bisnatches jerking eachother off. Sad, it used to actually have some good news and leaks. All there is now is redundant opinion pieces and guys like oldboy shifting every topic to MS did this, MS did that.
So you don't care that the compa...
I love Firaxis and xcom, but this is bs. Release a game with a lot of performance issues, patch the performance as minimal as possible. Now they upped the performance and they give the original owners the finger. They could also have made a version of Xcom 2 war of the chosen without the expansion pack content and given that to the original xcom2 owners instead.
Yes it costs money and time, but its for the people who pay your bills and love your games.
I rather have a Battle for Middle-Earth 3 <3
nice one
@Sam FIsher why a downplayed skyrim? It's a different world magic isnt as prevelent anymore in current GoT time same with dragons, in the past there used to be a lot more of it.
And not because there is not dragons flying everywhere or magic everywhere means it downplayed.
What if they made the setting way before GoT where the andals and the children of the forest still live in big numbers.
I know bethesda is good at creating their own world...
@thekurg a long time back they said they were working on a new engine for their future games, keep your hopes up! ^^
I rather have them use the engine from that Nintendo Switch game Project Octopath Traveler and remake FF6 in that. The trailer from that game basically asks for SE to remake FF 1-6 with that engine.
edit: actually not sure what engine that game uses, but the artstyle is a perfect fit though.
The base version of ps4 and xbox are very old now. Even when they released, the hardware was of a mediocre pc at best. We are now 5 years ahead of that and it's showing.
It would be unreasonable to have bungie basically revamp their whole game for xbox x and ps4pro while such a small portion of the playerbase owns those. As for the pc version, there is no good excuse tbh.
I actually think he is not doing his job. This isnt 1995 anymore, people know about exclusives and which system has which games now. Flat out lying to the customer is not pr.
He could have focussed the attention on their network, indie support and power of new xbox and mention some of the exclusives they have. Then you are still promoting your brand in a good way while not flat out lying to your (potential) customers
Activision doesn't own Blizzard nor Bungie. if you would have fired up one blizzard game since their partnership you would have known. Do you think activision would allow a company they own to publish their own games and not put an activision cinematic in when the game launches?
Because Steam is a good platform to sell games on (not so much for a big publisher) because a crapton of people use steam. It wouldn't surprise me if they put it on steam right before Desti...
I have yet to find these so called rumors. Any proof of the rumors (sounds weird I know). Also a remaster for Bayonetta seems kinda unlikely to me. It never got that popular as they hoped it would
It would be a bad move for platinum to stay exclusive, means less money in the long run
tbh no one of the big 3 has any original tech in their newest console.
Only one might be xbox because of the cloud computing they can do, but all they've shown for that so far is Crackdown 3 multiplayer if im not mistaken.
I think everyone can see the games aren't a new experience. Some people just label portability as a new experience.
I can't wait to get my switch once Mario: Xcom edition comes out.
ehhhh i mean Mario Rabid Kingdom
I am a nintendo enthusiast (maybe can call it more of a mario enthusiast), but i don't think switch offers the new experience we've all been waiting for. It just makes u play the games on the go a bit downgraded compared to docked. Actually im not waiting for a new way to play, i just want good games.
I know there are some big ass N fans where you can't say anything negative about it (goes for every console tbh), but certainly not all think that way. It's o...
What is a true console? thats just bs.
Do you mean there is only one console soon? the xbox one x? Cause that one has significantly more power than the others.
If anything, Nintendo has proven to be the true console. it embraces most thing about true console gaming. Couch co-op, party games and delivering complete games.
Maybe you were born after 2000 and you have a different view of true console gaming, but don't go saying that crap just be...
what new gaming experience is that? Motion controls are not new, handhelds are not new.
Woopdie doo u can now play skyrim on the go (which is actually pretty neat), but I don't classify that as a new experience.
last gen had a crapton of JRPG's as well. They didn't get much spotlight though.
I highly recommend Resonance of Fate, it's probably the most unique jrpg i have played to date but didn't sell well or got any notable marketing. The combat system is based around moving and chaining your moves/attacks. It's pretty hard to get into and master it but it pays off when you finally do.
Story is pretty garbage from what i can remember, but com...
I don't think it's reasonable to compare those two games. Ni No Kuni (first one at least) was much more about the experience than in depth combat mechanics or anything which i appreciated a lot. Combat in Nino Kuni looked nice but had not enough depth for me
I haven't played persona 5 or any of them, but it seems to me those game are more combat focussed than story focussed (not saying story is bad or anything, wouldn't even know). So of course the combat wi...
The thing I am disappointed about is that the VR only gets VR games, no normal experiences set in vr with a new way of playing them (physical motions or w/e). Gotta say I didn't pay much attention to VR lately so there might already be some normal games that got VR'd.
I'm really not interested in VR games, I wan't the games I play normally with a new way of playing and experiencing them. Untill they do that well, I'm not going to buy VR.
