Just get the inevitable PS5 Pro GTA Bundle.
It makes total sense as Games Pass is Microsoft's console now. With all Xbox games available on PC, Cloud, Smart TVs, and Firesticks people that might have bought a console to play a game now have the option to play elsewhere and dump out if it's not for them. Microsoft and Xbox are the first but given enough time all game consoles will eventually become a service application.
Considering that it needs to phone home to be of any serious use and the fact that it will most likely get added to a block list. Seems like the person that sold it took advantage of the buyer.
Since MS is heading full steam into being a service-based company. Xbox will eventually morph into the same model as MS-Office or Windows. Where the product can be used on any device capable of running it, however, they will still make a boutique console just like they do with their Surface line of PCs.
BS on the exclusive deal as it would be a big marketing point by Sony and Game Sience. Since, Sony is relying on 2nd & 3rd party to carry them this fall they would defintely be advertising it especially if they paid. The truth is Xbox Series S is getting more and more difficulty to meet Series X parity. Which has been poven out multiple times, which, is the case here but Microsoft is not going to say that and Game Sience is being diplomatic so they will not either.
Cool. if it haoppens even better if they can somehow get discs to work as well.
False philosophy, every business industry does something special to make their products stand out from the crowd. Exclusivity will always be in the gaming industry in one from or another. However, there does need to be more realistic financials during the creation of these games.
Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. MS artifically increasing its first party studio DLC prices to force people into purchasing a Games Pass subscription.
Of course Playstation fans should be happy more than half the games shown during the showcase are also day one on Playstation and if not are on PC. However, there is more than a 50/50 chance that even Xbox only games highlighted could only be timed exclusives and go multiplatform.
Maybe they should talk more, but the truth is that half the games shown during the Xbox showcase are also on Playstation day one or PC. At the end of the day anyone that wants access to these games can get it.
Seems to be status quo for Xbox studios these days.
The should also make an Xbox OS that can run on all the new AMD handles that have released with Win 11 Home.
This quote is getting overblown big time. We can already see the dumb console warriors wringing their hands in wait to throw it back out and say whatever Naughty Dog does is sh!t.
It was an obvious result. It's what happens on any platform that basically gives away the content for cheap or free. You can't blame the customer for waiting for a game to be placed behind the subscription service or wait for the deep discount weeks later because it failed to track.
If we mean non-RE type games when we say AAA Horror then the answer is easy the ROI is too risky and at 100-200 million budget its not worth the gamble as the pool of potential buyers is not enough to justify production.
Microsoft Xbox as grown and spent too much for it to service just a small group of Xbox gamers. Games Pass for the past 3 years as had flat growth. The potential base of core gamers that would even sub to a service such as Games Pass not being large enough to offset costs they need to go wide. Microsoft Xbox future as always been to become a publisher of games for all platforms which aligns with how all their other businesses are run. Only the worst of the worst console warriors suffering fro...
Since that message was sent to Sony Interactive Entertainment employees it might not necessarily translate to a showcase for the public but just another message for them. Here is hoping..
Looking at the financially history its been spotty even though their games have seen okay reviews. Before getting purchased they were forced to become a smaller guerrilla style studio using tech to compensate for size while still aiming to make AAA games (HELLBLADE 1) on a budget. So the studio does falls into the same bucket as Tango and Arkane Austin, they make games people tend to like but no one buys them until they're on a fire sale. Likewise, key leadership roles have also departed ...
Would be funny is P3 nuked his account temporality as a joke.
He may be a bad boss but he is allowed to spend his own money however he wants.
