DF stated that the update is basically a patched 60fps but everything else is kinda botched at least with the first version. Unsold me on buying it. Might look at it again if the quality takes a big jump. Paying for a bad update in no bueno.

Simple peopIe didn't like it enough and there is a glut of these types of games. If its just good that is table stakes but not enough to secure success.
As a PS Fan and someone that looks to new exsperiences not rehashing old ones I can feel for the devs but it does not move the needle as far as getting new video games.

Wish the controls on this was better, the mouse thing was a neat idea on paper but bad in actual daily gaming use. Despite what enthusiast say most of the world just looks to get access to a piece of entertainment in the most convient way possible. This convient and cost effective way that provides a good enough experience is usually a console. And since the end of the PS3 & Xbox360 era that console has been a PlayStation the world over.
If early reporting is to be believed before Light of Motiram came to be Tencent pitched Sony on an Horizion multiplayer game but it was declined. This seems like a big hurdle for the lawsuit.
This was a smart move on Microsoft's part to focus either on an optimized layer or OS that can run on any gaming handled.
Most of these games takes weeks if not months to complete better off buying them then renting them for $20+ dollars a month and have nothing to show for it by the end.

The numbers are most likely inflated, a user account begins play on console and then moves to PC that is the same usage case not an additional one. I'm sure there are double-dippers but most likely not he in the numbers they suggest at least without 3rd-party verification.
