Almost reaching that popularity level when the cease and desist letters start to be sent out.
In the grand scheme of things the other lines of revenue are in the billions of dollars so depending on the costs to get this revenue it seems its not too important as the brand damage it may cause. After all Xbox is where it is today by going day and date with its releases on PC.
In reality a dev having a simplistic tech statck does not really impact the end user experience. If the game is good and worth playing is what matters. In other words some cooks make care if 2 or 3 eggs were used to make a cake but the person eating it doesn't. And in the case of DLSS 5 the chef is soley responsible for the recipe and how its mixed together.
The numbers are most likely inflated, a user account begins play on console and then moves to PC that is the same usage case not an additional one. I'm sure there are double-dippers but most likely not he in the numbers they suggest at least without 3rd-party verification. With remote play on all of the platforms these days one can argue every game is play anywhere but of course your perfoprmance and enjoyment will vary. However, it does look like that crossbuy and crossplay will be a big...
Seems like a preformative take to just be different and get traffic.
0/5 as a review.
DF stated that the update is basically a patched 60fps but everything else is kinda botched at least with the first version. Unsold me on buying it. Might look at it again if the quality takes a big jump. Paying for a bad update in no bueno.
Hollywood seems to be a S-show these days. Glad to see this person was able to bounce back and produce something many people are loving.
Wonder if this is a situation where quantities were limited. Good news for Resident Evil Requiem either way.
Who would of thought that spending billions on publishers to get content but have it never grow into a consistent increase of subscribers would lead to the downfall of Xbox as a standalone platform. Microsoft gambled on owning a great part of that mystical 300 million core gamer audience to subscribe to Games Pass but that never materialized in the numbers that makes sense with today's ever increasing production costs. Thinking that a subscrption model could bring in mobile like audience ...
Simple peopIe didn't like it enough and there is a glut of these types of games. If its just good that is table stakes but not enough to secure success.
As a PS Fan and someone that looks to new exsperiences not rehashing old ones I can feel for the devs but it does not move the needle as far as getting new video games.
Probably not too long from now until we'll get the annoucement: Ubisoft laysoff 1,200 workers.
Cool, let it cook.
The PS6 is at least 2 years out still people need to relax with these forecasts much can change.
This stinks but they knew who they were getting in bed with when they took the bag of cash.
Wish the controls on this was better, the mouse thing was a neat idea on paper but bad in actual daily gaming use. Tried the first version and had to return it do to the controls scheme being unconfrontable. Lenovo should make joycons that are more traditional even if its an extra alternate add-on cost.
Entritlement ≠ Justification. Hopefully these iillict pirate copies will be taken down and the thieves punished approriately.
Vermin writhe within filth and are the root of man’s impurity. Crush all vermin without hesitation. – The Caryll Runes
The real best deal in gaming.
Despite what enthusiast say most of the world just looks to get access to a piece of entertainment in the most convient way possible. This convient and cost effective way that provides a good enough experience is usually a console. And since the end of the PS3 & Xbox360 era that console has been a PlayStation the world over.
Fable this fall will most likely sell better on PC & PS5 than on the Xbox console.
