I've seen various live demos and the the UI appeared very responsive to voice commands. This article appears to be a rehash of old news, where the demonstration took place in conditions you would never have at home.
MS has already recovered. Outside of the core audience, folks aren't talking about drm or privacy concerns. They are talking about the sick commercials ms is airing.
After the initial reveal, Microsoft was in trouble because not even their core was supportive of their plans. Well now ms has largely fixed that issue, so they are in a much better standing.
Well they outperform Sony over the next 7 years. It's really to early to tell.. I think that they ...
I think you are making things up. Previously, console shooters all used some sort of Aim-assist to make up for how insensitive joysticks were. The DS4 essentially solved this problem, by having such a minuscule dead zone. I haven't seen reviews complaining about kz:SF controls. In fact most praised the responsiveness of the controls and the omission of Aim assist. They were complaining about uninspiring AI and poor level design.
I think battlefield 4 and Forza 5 are better with kinect. If we keep seeing it implemented like this, there is no argument that it's bad for games.
Can't find the link... Been looking for such a video for a while now.
Tell me it's bad for battlefield 4, or Forza 5, or dead rising 3.
I think it's the technology that's having me lean towards xb1 as my first next gen purpose. It would have been easy for MS to just shoot for raw power. But as an engineer myself, I love the fact that they are incorporating new and emerging technologies into their product. After all, they aren't just a consumer electronics company, but a tech company.
The theory behind the functionality of the kinect 2 is brilliant. I can't wait to see what developers come u...
I doubt it. If people like the game, they'll pay the 20 bucks and get the other characters.
OT: the game isn't free to play. There's a demo with just Jago Or you can buy characters. If you choose to buy characters separately, the moment you spend $20, the rest of the cast unlocks.
Also, the demo character changes every few weeks. To start its Jago, but a few weeks later it will be someone else...
Nice. If this game didn't have replayability before, it certainly has it now...
I think the ps4 is going to sell more consoles to consumers, but I think MS is going to use a different model midway through the cycle that might actually get it into more homes.
During several interviews with Xbox heads, I've been hearing allusions to MS planning new SKU's that actually have cable input jacks... ei it can actually replace the cable box. If this is true, MS might actually start selling Xbox ones to cable providers as actual cable boxes.
In response to Polygon's bias, let's send even more web traffic there way. The ad revenue they get will surely get them to change their ways! /s
The irony of an article like this isn't lost on me. If readers can't spot bias on their own, and need to be TOLD what to think, they aren't the type to seek objective points of view. Chances are, the majority of the people who are attracted to this article are here because it validates or conflicts with their own ...
Sony has done a great job easing there customers into the idea of paying for a subscription. The fact that folks will have to pay for online MP, won't matter, since so many people saw the value of PSN anyway.
All reviews are opinion...
I can't believe people are arguing over which version of this crappy game is better. The one that gives you a high res look at the shitty graphics, but stutters, or the one that runs smoothly, but looks like mud... How about we all do the industry a favor and by neither of them?
I think he's saying that he didn't play it in its entirety, but he's assuming there won't be any glaring unforeseen departures in quality in the parts he missed.
Google is sitting out both Sony and MS launch... Perhaps salty to see those 2 succeeding where it has failed... The living room.
It's a shame too, because YouTube w/ smartglass concept was proven to work well on 360.
A surprising positive preview. I can't say this is something I would invest my time or money into, but it does look like it could be good for a laugh.
gotta disagree with you there. From a business stand point, Sony owes it to themselves to maintain a little markup with this product. In an effort to undercut MS, they are in a situation where they are losing a bit on each console sale. The rest of the company is depending on the gaming arm to rescue it. If Sony can maintain demand, and cut production costs, they'd most certainly like to keep the price at $400 for as long as possible to turn an easy profit.
You ask would ...
Smh, ms did nothing wrong to him. They are simply keeping customers off of Xbox live until launch... just like Sony is doing, simply because the service was still in testing, and not ready for consumption. People are making much ado about nothing.
Man I hope this doesn't turn out like The RROD saga...
Having this many reports while so few console are out in the wild isn't a good sign at all..
