You can get FW updates without logging onto PSN. You can install it from a flash drive that has the update downloaded from the Sony website.

I agree. A 120 gig HDD for 360 costs $180 at Best Buy, and I paid a whopping $60 for a 160 gig HDD for my PS3.
I really don't understand why they have to charge so much for a HDD.

I bet you that if MS never came to fruition, and Bill Gates never cared about computers, that somebody else would. I do acknowledge what MS has done, but someone else could have done it too, maybe better, maybe worse: that's what we don't know.

Here's the system. It's called "griefing" a level.
You can take a screen shot at any point in the game and send it in for evaluation. When you do this, the level becomes immediately flagged and taken down until it is evaluated. If it's safe, the level goes back up. If it breaks some rules, it goes down.
If you constantly flag levels to be a jerk, you get flagged and face consequences.

I think it'll do well. The only people I've seen that weren't interested in this game were hardcore 360 fanboys and people who don't like the platforming genre.
I have a friend who basically only plays MMORPGs and FPSs, and even he's getting LBP.
I really think this will be the gaming equivalent of youtube.

Agreed, I NEVER thought this game would see the light of day on PSN. I know it may not and all, but I didn't think it'd be a possibility even.

Well Quest for Booty is what, 4-5 hours? And that's $15, so $10 for this wouldn't seem out of the question.
I've never played Geometry Wars, but the SSHD demo was REALLY fun. I'm going to have to buy it one of these days lol.
