I don't like to be biased or anything, but reading that phrase just made me think "because it's got the Halo name brand." I doubt the game will be bad, and in fact it looks pretty interesting for a console RTS, but I just can't shake the feeling that this game will be over-rated.
I disagree with Moore. These people are criminals / thieves. They're no different than a shop lifter. Well, the only difference is anonymity if anything.
These people do not respect the gaming industry, so why should anybody respect them? Treat them just like what they are, don't baby them because they're you're "consumers" (which if they really were, they'd BUY THE GAME).
I paused the video at one point (plane going over my house - O'Hare ftl), and I saw the eyes in the back looking to the upper left. Cage was also looking in the same direction, and it freaked me out o.o

This is the reason that I'm on the fence about getting SOCOM. I know LBP and R2 alone will eat away at my online time. I also know I'll be too into KZ2 MP to play anything else.

That's my main concern. They say it's easy to pull off all of those moves. Well, I don't want to hold L up and L1 down to get through 80% of the game. I hope I'm wrong though, because if this game ISN'T repetitive, then it looks very fun :P

They know, that's why trophies are going to be mandatory soon. It's too late in most dev cycles for this Fall.
You nailed it. I just want to add that it's not THAT simple to put trophies into a game. You have to make the code for them, then spend MORE time testing them than making them. That time can be a while, depending on policy and whatnot, so many developers (probably) just don't have the time to add them with their schedule and resources.
In the near future though, trophies will appear everywhere, just don't worry about them now (WORRY ABOUT MGS4 THOUGH, THAT'S NECESSARY...) :P
I really enjoyed that post, it reminds me a bit of myself. I wish more people in the community had this way of thought, and not "I'm an Xbot, and you're a PS-whatever-it-is." It shames me sometimes to know gamers like this.

Actually, they didn't delay it just to give it more time, they delayed it because this Fall is full of games like Socom, Bioshock, Resistance 2, Gears 2, etc. They'd rather release it with no competition, and just mop up every sale ;P
Yeah, they're basically done with the game (it's been said it could have released this Fall, but the schedule is too full of AWESOME), so the next 4-5 months will be spent polishing.
It scares me to think that they have that much time to polish a game that looks finished...
