Realism is in the physics, lighting, animations, particle effects, and all that stuff too. It's not just details. It's everything.

My prediction:
See how Trico has horns? And the boy doesn't? Assuming this game is in the same universe as the last two, I see the boy somehow inheriting "The Last Guardian" status by doing something like saving the beast or WHATEVER it happens to be, and he gets reborn or something with the horns of Trico.

That's what I was gonna say. Everybody who wasn't an idiot could tell it wasn't FFVII (since when was silver surfer in that game?) and the Japanese commentors already mentioned it was probably Lord of Vermilion.
