Seriously, why the disagrees? Every Splinter Cell game has been delayed, this one has been delayed, they've all been delayed. I just don't understand how can someone disagree with facts? It's hilarious.
Seriously, what does it matter if the disc isn't in the system? You're too lazy to get up and change discs? With a cross game invite you're invited to that room in that particular game. You pop out what you're playing, put in the game you got invited to. It boots up and puts you in the room you were invited to. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
So I ask you, what difference does it make if the disc isn't in the system?

No Splinter Cell game has ever been released on time, so this one won't be any different.
I do believe the camera was fixed on the original Xbox with an update. It wasn't very good. If in fact the game is finished (NG2) and the camera is so far off, I'm sure we'll see a patch day one. So I'm not worried at all.
Being a 360 owner, I can say I was kind of jealous we apparently weren't going to be getting this game...I've changed my mind after all the reviews...wow. I guess UBI is still a Xbox house, no matter how you slice it.
It's a shame really, I thought the premise and the look of the game was interesting. Ohwell...more shovelware.
I'm happy if it's true. IMHO the series has gotten very stale. Double Agent, while I did think it was passable, is the only Splinter Cell I haven't finished. I have to go back to it.
Also, they need to make the online less dumbed-down like they have been, the online in DA was the biggest pile of joke I have ever seen. Pandora Tomorrow's online was excellent, I loved the learning curve, but too many people complained so they made it "easier" ala "Dumbed Down"...
It's a shame, really.
I also find it crazy, someone would actually take the time to make it. It's pretty detailed. It doesn't seem like it's something someone would just think of off the cuff.
I don't know, I'm calling BS on Major Nelson. If it weren't the slightest bit true atthey wouldn't have even brought it up. It quite possibly could be the real list, but some features have yet to be apporved. So they don't want to disappoint if one doesn't make it...

You can get XM on Windows Media Center. You can also browse the web via Media Center as well. So while technically they're not on the 360 dash it is in an option on the dash...soo....
Even though I was a staunch HD-DVD supporter. I do think that both formats (HD and BR) were pushed upon consumers way too early. There are far too many reasons for me to post my reasons, as most have stated them above. The single biggest factor is HDTV adoption. It is not mainstream yet, and it won't be for years.
It's great MS and Sony have proplled the HDTV market by releasing HD consoles, (much the way MS propelled broadband with the original Xbox). The adoption rate for BR-...

Also, the ability to install to the HDD game data to increase load times...GTA IV, Mass Effect (may be playable now), and Oblivion will all benefit greatly, no more pop up!
Other than that the update seems kind of blah, although, the community features sounds nice. I have a feeling clan support for the fall update will help with Halo Wars sales.

Why is it unfair to put such scrutiny on the PS3? You the PS3 gamers and the developers talk of this system being the second coming or something. So it's actually unfair to hold the PS3 to the hype that everyone creates for it? That is the best comment I've heard in a long time, I'm actually going to add that to a sig. Hilarious.

I'll tell you why. GTAIV. People were much harder on the 360 version than the PS3 version hence a lower average score for the 360.
PS3 is the poster child for biased reviews swinging in their favor. So don't get all teary-eyed about a game that's been delayed...yet again...when the original was a sub-par PS2 title to begin with.
Now how has that happened so far? I think the PS3 has seen more console iterations this gen so far. That's just flame bait for no reason.
