I bought one, I've also bought 20 movies in the past week for an unreal price. So please don't call me stupid or moronic. I am upgrading my DVD collection to HD on the cheap. HD-DVD does have 400+ titles and is region free, so I will enjoy movies for a long time to come, on my 120" screen.
As for Blu-Ray, when MS does release a player, I'll pick that up as well. I'm happy I have HD-DVD. I of course would have been more happy had it "won the war". But hey, you do...

Well, I would say thay the first batch of content is nearly finished for the 360. Isn't the 360 version in "The Can" already, and we've had to wait due to the PS3?
Why would the digital TV change over spur sales of the PS3? The only people that are truly going to be affected by the change are the ones who still use an antenna to get TV, those in the rural areas and the ones who don't have cable or satellite.
It has nothing to do with HD. So please explain to me, why the 2009 switch will spur PS3 sales?
Good...I'm in no way upset I bought into HD-DVD, I have some quality movies with a much cleaner picture than Blu-Ray. I have ordered 15 more movies off Amazon.com for an incredible price, I'm happy about it. Sure I'll have to buy the Blu-Ray add-on down the road, but this doesn't negate the movies I already have.
I always wondered why the HD-DVD add on was convexed...it makes it easier to slide a Blu-Ray player right beside it, and look ok...
Yeah, I have to download that multiplayer demo for Frontlines. Looks pretty fantastic. This new Battlefield game has me worried...not much talk of the multiplayer, too much of the single player.

My god. Again, not everyone has high-end. 1080p is not even a standard broadcast signal for over the air/cable transmission. Is 1080p HD because Sony told you it was? The difference between 1080p and 1080i, 720p on most HDTV's under 50" is negligible at best. So why does "Average Joe" consumer need it? You're going around touting a format simply because Sony said it is better. I have never seen So many sheep in my life.

HD-DVD fans don't have the disposable income that Bluray Owners do. Its just the way it is, because YOU might have some coin, doesn't mean everyone with HD-DVD has it. If they did, BLURAY WOULDN'T BE OUTSELLING HD-DVD Discs.

I have the game. I'm not a big fan of it. I would say a 60 is pretty harsh, I'd give an 8 out of 10.
My two cents:
I have now fallen asleep twice while playing this game. It's a snooze fest for me.
The graphical glitches are distracting, the animation isn't that fluid.
The story is a moot point, it seems as though every five minutes you're listening to ten minutes of dialouge.

It's like GRAW and KOTOR mated and had a love child. Amazing game.
The game is fun, I've had a good time with it. It's lacking in the multiplayer due to only one objective but more are on the way. KAOS has a pretty good repoire with the Xbox community on the forums. I haven't tried the single player, I know it won't be better than COD4 or Halo 3, so I probably won't get to that anytime soon.
If you're into multiplayer games then yes, this is fun. Is it better than Battlefield? It depends.
