I plan on blogging about the experience rather than the news end of things. It's been awhile since I've written, I need to dust off that part of my brain. Hence the minor errors. As far as an essay goes, nah it was meant more for entertainment.
I was on the fence about this game, but man o' man. These screenies are convincing me otherwise. I had a love hate with the first one, hopefully this one treats me as bad!
I think I may pass, I've bought every year for as long as I can imagine. I'm personally sick and tired of the BS, these features should have been in since day one. It's what the third version of this gen, and it's just now getting them? Bleh. I'll wait for reviews.
Getting to the Tier 3 people is the issue. They flat out deny that there is someone else that they can transfer you to. It's a nice thing when you finally do get to talk to people that know what they are talking about and not reading from a script. Hi my name is "Brian Smith, how can I help you?" Wow, that's pretty harsh considering most of the free world loves the game.
I'm a huge 360 supporter, I love the system. But I found the article oozing with rediculous ideas and many fanboy moments. I had a hard time reading it,
You would think after their 5 release that it would be better than a game that has only seen 2 versions. It looks good, but Forza 2, is nothing to be scoffed at either.
Can someone please explain this? I don't understand how it's done.

I couldn't agree more. I don't watch enough movies to spin the thing out though, so I should be ok. Maybe I should pick up a backup player...or I could buy a combo BR-HD-DVD player...

WHO CARES IF THE FORMAT IS DEAD!?!?! If you can buy HD movies on the cheap since prices are so low who cares!?!?! I've added quite a few HD-DVD's to my collection recently due to low prices. I don't think I'm a moron for it. I'm replacing my DVD's with HD versions for a cheaper price than I could have three months ago I'm happy about it.
You think Blu-Ray versions of these same movies are going to be cheap like this anytime soon? No. Should I buy it just because it's Blu-Ray? ...
Ahhh, but aren't the PS3 user's superior, and the system is the saving grace for gamers worldwide? That doesn't sound normal or average to me. Who cares! I have a screaming fast connection, I'm pretty normal, I can get movies pretty quick. I pay $30 a month what's the big deal?

Well said, HDTV penetration isn't that high yet, and yes neither is BR-DVD. Also, all this talk about the BR 2.0 functions; wow, welcome to HD-DVD features from day one! It's a shame that the wool was pulled over so many eyes.
I also can't believe the rhetoric BS that is spewing from everyone..."1080p is the only HD" nothing else is. I have a 720p-1080i LCD TV that said HDTV on the box when I bought it. I have a HDTV subscription with DirecT...

The majority of the people don't have HDTV's either, but this whole BR-DVD is the second coming. Come on, get with it.

Take off your blinders and actually use the Marketplace service before you spout off about things you don't know about.
You certainly can watch a movie while it's downloading. I start D/L'ing a HD movie, pop some popcorn and get comfortable. By the time I'm ready to sit and watch it, it's able to be watched. It takes about an hour and a half to D/L a full HD movie.
Also, the quality is pretty good as well. It's not HD-DVD or BR quality,...

I have had no issues at all with Vista. I find it more stable than XP, I also find it much more user friendly. There isn't any way I could go back to XP. I haven't had any performance issues at all, I have a decent setup, so maybe it's different for me.
I've had a launch console with no issues what so ever.
I'm enjoying this game as well. The KAOS team often reply on the Xbox.com forums, so yes they are aware of the bugs and are working to fix them. They are even trying to add proximity chat and some other squad based chat things.

...and after doing a quick read through, they said they've fixed the connection issues. That was quick. Good support from these guys!
Well not all of it's fiction, my wife can't stand them still...haha. And I did quit a job for the Ohio State v. Michigan game, I was young and dumb back then, let's say it's a bit embelished...haha. The amount spent on gaming is true...actually the more I think of it. The less fictitious it becomes...yikes. Although, it isn't all that grim though. I can control myself. Peace out.
