Yeah, I'm a huge 360 supporter, even I find this article crap.

DCBRONCO:

I'm commend you on your insight. Blu-Ray, while yes is the industry leader in HD-Playback, it still has nowhere near the market penetration to be still considered a viable format. I read the comments on here and it's like people copy Sony's PR statements to be repeated verbatim on here. It makes me wonder how many Sony "spies" are posting on this site. I can't believe this many people are blind to the truth.

HDTV penetration is nowhere near wh...

Nice offensive comment. You've been reported.

Spectrux:

I'm afraid you're wrong Microsoft loves to make money. As does Sony and Nintendo, if you don't think they do and Sony isn't a big gargantuan company that bought up most of the entertainment industry for profit then you're mistaken.

Nintendo didn't release a cheap mass producible console with a control gimmick to make money then you're wrong there as well.

If you think the presidents of either Sony or Nintendo donate as much money to chari...

A friend of mine let me borrow this game about a month ago...I haven't even put it in the 360 yet. Crackdown, I did get for the Halo 3 Beta, it turns out that game is quite awesome!

@Chad Warden

Microsoft actually invented "Home" years ago on the PC and is the great-great grandfather of it. They had a 3D based AVATAR chat program you could install and use it as a chat server, very cool for the time, nowadays not so much.

Secondlife would be the thing Home is more closely based which is a complete snore fest, hopefully Home will be more enthralling.

Well said Slayer, well said.

Yes, E3 is a few days long. I'm sure much like the Dashboard updates that weren't announced at E3, MS will announce and display new and more intriguing things.

Yeah you're right, pay for HDMI cables, pay for Blu-Ray, pay for a system that has no games. Pay for a system that supposedly is superior for inferior 3rd party games...stay on the Sony truck...believe what the president of Sony Entertainment said..."3rd party games aren't important....1st party are..." Welcome to Nintendoland Sony...what a freaking joke.

I just can't understand why people can't see through the smoke and mirrors of Sony....

You can take that extra $100 away for the Wi-Fi adapter. First, you don't have to buy that adapter you can buy any USB adapter. Second, most gamers prefer hardwire anyway. Less, latency, less lag, less package drops...maybe I'm wrong.

Let's face it, aside from the Wii, the DS and PSP are owning the PS3 and the 360 in Japan, although the 360 is getting beat down a little more.

I think people care about Halo 3, it's still second behind COD4. I'm not playing either, but that's not to say Halo 3 isn't hugely popular.

@3.1

Spaz I'm a gamer, I bought an arcade unit. I use it for my outdoor theater, so does that make me less of a gamer? When I can just undo my Xbox HD and take it outside with me, or unplug my Wi-Fi adapter and take it outside with me and put it on my arcade version? I think having a 120" outdoor screen and projector setup with a 360 makes me a hell of a gamer.

Ignorance is bliss my friend...keep it up.

I actually enjoy Vista it's very stable for me. It's fast, I haven't had any crashes. It's funny how the netpeople "skew" things. It's internet corporate terrorism..

The last I heard HD-DVD movies still look fantastic and are cheap. So why not get a $5 player and some cheap movies? It isn't like HD-DVD's don't work because they're discontinued. If you don't think it's a good deal RondeMuerte you're smoking crack.

I do like the the rum though...

I'd rather buy a cheaper console that can produce better games than the 4-D wonder. Oh wait...I already have.

Sounds like a great update...although I'm concerned about having "to buy" a controller to utilize the interface. I suppose it's one way to guarantee the sucksess of this "motion controller". I love my 360, I'm a huge proponent. But, this is a bit over the top even for me.

I don't think I'm a fan of this idea at all...the motion controller and the GUI. The GUI has to be perfect, and the motion control smacks of garbage.

Say what you will about Halo, but if MS can trust Gearbox with the next Halo game. Something they do isn't too bad...Treyarch did Tony Hawk...what a cess pool those games turned out to be...
