I love Vista, granted I have a pretty strong machine, but I have no problems with the GUI at all.
In all honesty though, maybe this game will start off at the beginning of the war. Before the spartans and show us all how it happened or began. We'll see I suppose.
You get to play a janitor on one of the gigantic spaceships. It gets attacked and all the plumbing breaks. You then have to clean the entire ship from top to bottom, hoping the pipes don't break again.
I think the original Xbox was certainly something that changed consoles. A standard HDD, which was amazing but dropped on the 360. A standard ethernet port to propel broadband, which was a feat in and of itself. Everyone kind of balked at broadband only for the Xbox, they did see the future with that decision. They were also the first console to offer HD over component. That again is foresight.
The 360, I'm not sure of the revolution. Putting the hardware issues aside. Not much...
I hope it's something different than Halo is well, I enjoyed the games, but honestly Halo 3 wasn't that big of a deviation from 2's mulitplayer that I haven't played it that much. Maybe I should pop it in tonite...

Honestly, I rarely use my mic, unless I'm on with known friends. I'm anti-social that way.
The reason you're getting far fewer mouthed children is due to the fact that a mic isn't standard on the PS Network! As I read the comments around here, such as people calling it the "Crapbox" and the way comments are spelled, it makes me think that, the children are actually on PS3, they just don't have mics.
Aside from that, you can easily mute people on Live, which I do. Anything with 12 million people on it will have it's share of morons. No doubt about it.

This free v. charge debate is so stale it's not even worth discussing. As far as ads go, I'm not finding them intrusive on the 360 at all. I've played the PS3 network and you can certainly tell the difference, between it and Live. You do get what you pay for.
PS Network may be free, but it's nowhere near as robust or convient as Live

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the update. I'm very excitedd about HDD installs, it may make Mass Effect playable for me now. I'm also kind of stoked about the whole new look. Avatars...well...I don't really care much about that. Motion Controls? A little too late to the game, I'd but a Wii if I wanted that in my games...

As far as being brainwashed that DVD9 can't cut it...That means I should get rid of my PC as well then right? The optional install for gams onto the HDD will more than make for a lack of BR on the 360 put the game on 3 DVD's then. Who cares?

Anyway, onto Too Human, I played the demo. I'm not buying it. It's not very fun at all. It's very dull and uninspired. I'll save my money for Fallout 3.
I think this game is almost too obscure to be a bonifide "system seller". The graphics look great, but honestly, even in that Tetris video it looks boring to me. Desiging levels in a game to share them isn't exactly on my list of "fun" things to do. I have little time to play games as it is, let alone design levels!
