Anyway i've tried this game, played on Xbox360 and yes this kind of fast-paced game should be played with 60fps (next-gen or PC).
VR is different than Kinect or PS Eye. VR is something that even hardcore gamers want to try.
Wasn't the SNES version resemble the movie more than the Genesis one? I recall Aladdin didn't wield sword in the movie.
While i admit Genesis version offered more complex environment, i prefer the SNES version for simplicity & linearity.

ND may not like Activison with multi developers that release COD every year. But 2 years is not a relatively long time in developing a blockbuster game with such consistent quality by ND.
The only problem is people (like you) who purchased PS4 want Uncharted 4 as a launch game....
Beyond my expectation,
the difference between XB1 and PS4 is quite clear so i can notice it right away.
1080p is a must for next-gen, but 30/60fps is a choice.
I wouldn't mind sacrificing framerate from 60fps to 30fps for better graphics for some games/genre.
I don't regret Uncharted series had 30fps with beautiful graphic, than 60fps but missing a lot of details.
Yet, i like MG : Rising running 60fps with average quality graphic.
It depends on the game i think.

Lightning is probably the most unluckiest character in FF. 2 (or 3) games featuring her and many people considered them FFF, Final Fantasy : Failed.
Please, don't hate Lightning, hate Motomu Toriyama instead.
Being cinematic with blackbars is ok i think. And with so much AA, maybe the true reason is to make this game like movie as much as possible.
With that in mind, i expect many great unforgettable moments, and with 2:40 ratio it will become more cinematic.
Whatever it become, i trust that the developer will make a good decision.
